It's been a while since I played a fighter that had such outstanding polish and and overall quality
such as Arc System Works latest brawler, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. From the moment I inserted
the disc into my PS3 I knew I was in for a real treat. BlazBlue is full of a colorful cast of characters
that are all cool in their own ways. The battles are fast and fierce and the the soundtrack that goes
along with it is full of catchy tunes that set the mood perfectly. My only gripe with the game is that
I wish there were more characters to choose from but this can be remedied by way of dlc in the
future (keeps fingers crossed) but make no mistake - Blazblue is based on quality over quanity
and I I totally respect that. Speaking of quality the game's graphics are to die for. Anyone who
says 2-D is dead clearly hasn't seen BlazBlue in motion. The sprites are like poetry in motion,
really a sight of beauty to behold. I can write a novel of how awesome BlazBlue is but i'll cut it
short. If you like fighting games that have a deep fighting system and have gorgeous visuals
as well then BlazBlue is just what the docter ordered. This game is awesome, 'nuff said!

Valkyria Chronicles, IMO, has got to be one of the coolest games I've ever played! From the gripping storyline to the beautiful graphics, VC has it all! It's really a shame that this game isn't doing well in sales while craptasic games continue to make millions ( cough, cough, Shaun White Snowboarding). Now I hear that the price for VC has dropped to $30 dollars. That's a STEAL for this gem of a title! If you haven't bought this game yet or have lingering doubts do yourself a favor and pick up this awesome game. You won't regret it!
P.S. If you haven't heard already, Valkyria Chronicles has an anime out. Be sure to be on the look out for it. If it's anything like the game I'm sure it's gonna rock!
On Saturday, August 15 around 1:36 a.m. I believe I have played one of the greatest games I have played in my life! You guessed it; I'm talking about the much ballyhooed Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots. At first I didn't want to believe the hype. I'm not one to be easily swayed by popular opinion but everyone and their mother suggested that I play MGS4 so I gave it a try. Lo and behold I am writing this blog with shattered senses after playing such an awe inspiring game. I can't even call MGS4 a game because that would almost trivialize it. Rather, it's more of an experience that you simply must see for yourself if you own a PS3. Hell, even if you don't own a PS3 or don't care for games in general this is the title that will make almost anyone into a believer. From the jaw-dropping, pristine graphics (This game is best played on a HDTV set on 1080p resolution. Anything lower would be an insult to the game and yourself. Trust me!) With a magnificent music soundtrack to the awesome sound effects, this title is packing some serious heat. The game play is top notch with ultra precise controls and intuitive level design that is so well thought out that it boggles the mind how talented the developers are. Wow! Hideo Kojima, you seriously rock dude! I just recently started playing (I'm in act 1 still) but judging by the level of quality I've witnessed thus far I can tell I'm in for one hell of a ride!
