Just a quick blog about the news that Brad Shoemaker and Vinny Caravela are now officially joining Jeff Gerstmann and Ryan Davis at the Giant Bomb which was announced in the latest edition of the Giant Bombcast, this now bring a total of 4 former Gamespot employees who are now working at Giant Bomb.

So today April 21st is my 18th birthday which is pretty exciting. It would have been nicer if I didn't have to go to school today but it was still a great day plus most of my friends go to the same school as me so I still got to see them all on my birthday but I will still have a party at the end of the week .

On another note I can't wait until Grand Theft Auto IV is released in just over a weeks time and I'm sure that it will be such an awesome game that everyone expects it to be and I'm going to be investing a lot of time into playing that game as I'm sure many other people will be as well. The only bad thing is that the Australian version of the game will be edited in some way which sucks because we don't have an R18 rating but I am actually going to be purchasing both the Australian Xbox 360 version of the game and an imported US PS3 copy of the game, that way I don't miss out on anything .

Anyway enough about GTA IV I have to go to bed soon so that I can get up in time for school tomorrow so I will talk to you guys later .

If you haven't heard about the Giant Bomb (dot com) it is a gaming website that Jeff Gerstmann & Ryan Davis are starting up where they will be reviewing games, talking about some of the upcoming games and plenty of other stuff. There will also be a weekly podcast that will be transitioned from the Arrow Pointing Down Podcast that Ryan has been posting on his blog and there is also going to be a regular video segment called "How To Build A Bomb" which will take you behind the scenes of the website, click on the link to checkout the first episode.

I'm really glad that they decided to create their own gaming website because I was really upset when I heard the news that Jeff was fired and then recently Ryan decided to leave since they were some of my favourite editors here at Gamespot but now I finally have a place where I can check out their articles and reviews on the latest games that are coming out. I can't wait to see how the finished website will turn out and I hope that it will become a great success and I wish them all the best of luck with their brand new site that I will be sure to visit on a regular basis from now on.
