I have tried my best to like Halo 3 more than Halo 2 but I can't deny it anymore. The king of online is still Halo 2 and here is why.
The sniper now sucks. The sword now sucks. The weapon switching is horribly slow as is the rest of the game. In other words there are no power weapons like there were in Halo 2. The only thing better in Halo 3 is the cheating is now gone but if I link up with my friends then it will be on Halo 2. I would play Halo 2 for money but there is no way I would 3. Halo 3 is made for noobs where as Halo 2 was like a sport. I mean you don't even have to pick up a weapon in Halo 3 now that they start you with a battle rifle. I know Halo 2 got to where it started you with a BR which I didn't like but at least there were power weapons on the map that I would throw it down for. I mean hell I run past the sword in 3 and am beginning to think I would do better if I left the sniper....stupid. I am not writing this because I am not any good. I am a 43 in Halo 3 and the highest I ever got in 2 was a 33. But I had a lot more fun getting to a 33 in Halo 2. Bungie you have lost my support, I will be playing COD 4 from now on because it is more fun. Farewell to the king!
