So Nintendo has just released official info on the DSi...other than the SD slot, and potentially built in web browser, the whole design seems pointless...mp3 and camera capabilities on a DS just seems pointless to me...Not only does my PSP cover all the media aspects better than a DS...my, you know iPod and Digital camera do quite a fine adition to this as well..

Two major downsides in my opinion are the removal of the GBA slot. Sure I still have my original GBA that I got at launch when I was like..11 or 10 years old...but it lacks this awesome thing called a luminous screen. That and I'd rather carry my DS around with a DS game and a GBA game in it, with the ability to quickly switch from one game to another without carrying around multiple consoles.

The scond downgrade would be the reduced battery life. The battery life will literally be cut in half from that of the DS's.

So that's my blurb about the DSi...good for new gamers with no background in the Nintendo handheld field (how many of those are there?) and people who love buying into the new technology

On a side note, I cleaned out all the pots and crevices on my new bass..still debating between newpickguard or repainting the body..
