- Interesting fact #256 (yes, 256 again... because apparently I had already posted the last one earlier >_>):
The Universe is beige.
This was concluded when some scientists decided to take the color of the 200,000 closest galaxies and then mixing them together. They kinda skipped the emptiness in between so... I still want to say that the Universe is black ![]()
- Interesting fact #257:
The roar that we hear when we place a seashell next to our ear is not the ocean (ooobviously), but rather the sound of blood surging through the veins in the ear.
1.5 year ago I made a blog about my newborn nephiew, today that nephiew got a little brother.
Apparently they arrived at the hospital at 7am this morning, after 2 hours (at 8:56) he was born... when my brother called a few hours later to tell us about the news I was like "WHAT?!? That's one fast baby".
Anyway, just came back from the visit. He's really cute and small and soft and... pink... not beige at all...
Comments
kcwsk - It could have been a GBA if his grand parents hadn't beaten me to it with their baby clothes.
Yoweeh - His name is Aaron... or Aron... which is how it's spelled in Sweden I think >.>
Beige is the new black ...
... I've just become a great-uncle. ![]()
Congrat's!
If you want to hear about a fast baby....My wife and I arrived at the hospital at 12:00am on the nose - she was having a lot of pressure and pain so we rushed to the hospital at 11:57pm (stupid traffic light slowed me down...and yes, the hospital is only 1/2 mile away).
At 12:10am her water broke and at 12:28am (doctor called it at 12:28am but they recorded it at 12:29am) our daughter was born....28 minute delivery! I wonder if that's some sort of record...?
I hope you get to enjoy your time with them; make sure you spoil the crap out of them and then hand them back to their parents! That's what being an uncle is all about.
P.S. The reason the universe is beige is because the Dark Matter that makes up most of the universe has no colour whatsoever (if it indeed exists in the first place).
Don't worry, I've always been the uncle who spoils and treats his nephews and nieces to the point where I feel completely exhausted at the end of every baby sitting session. This little fella can expect to be treated the same way.
@s_h_a_d_o - That's awesome too, congrats
@N-REAL - Ehm... when I'm ready.........
@neatfeatguy - Wow, your baby wins the race
@joshrocks2245 - That's a pretty freaky coincidence, congrats to you as well ^.^
Are you going to help raise the kids?
@nintendoecx - Thanks ^.^ and early congrats to you then
@RuntyGorillia - Tasted like heaven... I owe you a banana-flavored beer now >.>
@-Katsuri- If by helping to raise the kids you mean... introduce them to the world of video games, buying them lots and lots of toys and letting them do almost whatever they want in my care.... then yes.
Of course, people rarely listen to what strangers say to them on the street. They'd just hear 'blood' and 'fury' and assume I'm going to kill them. After all, people seldom approach you on the street and say bloody and fury at you if they don't intend to stab you in the abs. It's the law of the street.
But wow, you're an uncle.. again!
*Flees*
Egonga - I never imagined that my facts could lead to higher rates of death threats on the streets... I'd suggest that you start spreading this knowledge among friends and family who hopefully know you well enough to not suspect an assassination attempt...
Deihjan - Thank you
bdog5 - Thanks ^.^
VixDiesel - Thank you Vix
