I Loved Star Trek when I was a kid, and still have some collections of the shows now that i'm older. Each series revolved around action along with personal or social growth through mankind's new acheivements. But I gotta tell ya... They need someone who actually likes the series, to start making the games.

They're have been a few good ones for a base, meaning that its a good idea for a game, don't they don't take the ball and run with it. Every game i've encountered I have found much needed fan upgrades on websites. If they encorperated them into games in the first place this franchise wouldn't be in the hole.

Armada was a good structured game, but Armada 2 is only good for about a week, then you start looking to upgrade it. Legacy can hold its own for awhile, but its missing core parts as well. Encounters was a joke, and Conquest was the leftovers of it. Conquest could have been great if you could set alliances or choose the classes you want to role with into battle. But no, you can't have a game like that.. it would be too....cool.

Away team could have flew high if it had options on it.. Thats all it needed.... options. Hell you could have made a strategy game ot of it. Good authentic enviornments withthe starcraft engine, I bet id play it day in, day out. The problem with this series of games is that when they make a second one, you can't tell if its going to improve on the first which was already bad, or just get tossed deeper into the landfills. Elite Force for PS2 was baddd... I put it down after the 5th scene just because of loading times. They made a second one for the PC, im too scared to try it.

To any possible creators reading this, its not that i hate you guys for creating these games so poorly (though I do believe you need to be strapped to a chair a beaten with heavy mining equipment), I'm here to help.. Here we'll make a game together.

strategy based= if its rts, make ships customizable. Everyone wants to Captain their own flagship of the fleet, why not let them have a hero ship to their own specs? if its turn based, then add options for god sake. I swear if you added ship classes, alliances, actual federation admirals (all 3 were aliens at one point) then you could have at Least sold conquest for $35 and not $14.99 to start.

3rd person shooter- add RPG elements, learn from your mistakes and from comptetitors (Fable 2, Super Mario RPG). its not hard.

The next game that it upcoming is Supremacy. Its looks solid from screenshots, but i have doubts because of past experience. Seriously, if you watch the show and take ideas from there, then play video games and takes concepts from it, then BAM to got something. learn from both and fix the glitches you guys are making on one of the best franchises still out there. BTW if its the same guy making the games over and over, then you might want to let him go before he Tanks your company, At least tell him to STOP MAKING THE FRANCHISE LOOK BAD!!!!!!!!!!! Damn Star Wars lover.
