On Tuesday, September 15, 2009, I joined Twitter. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, but after a few hours of doing essentially nothing, I deleted it. I honestly don't know why people use that site. But I'm sure there are legit reasons for some people, but it's mainly for celebrities. I tweeted a few celebrities only to find out that it was pointless, since none of them reply. Without all of the celebrities on Twitter, I don't think it would be as talked about as heavily as it is. And none of my friends or family use it - making it even more pointless for me.
Well, that's my short lived Twitter story for you.
What's your opinion on Twitter?
Do you have a Twitter?
Guitar
I bought a guitar off Ebay a few weeks ago. I bought it with the intention to create my own songs, or at least attempt at doing so. Unfortunately, I am loosing interest in the guitar already. I have learned a few chords and what not, but none of it is appealing to me. Maybe the reason for this is that I don't have an amp for it...
High-Def Camcorder
A few months ago I purchased the Canon HF-20, a high-def camcorder that looks phenomenal. However, I bought it with the intent of making movies with..you know, like short films. Unfortunately, I don't have many people to partake in these movie. Everyone seems like they don't want to be involved. Oh well, I'll just use it for whatever reason until that hopefully happens.
Summer
Overall, I have had a really decent summer. I have visited a few places like: Los Angles, Hollywood, Las Vegas, and just recently Chicago. I enjoyed my time at all of the places and I'd love to visit them again.
What's Left For The Summer
Not much is really left for the summer of '09. I'd like to visit a friend before she leaves for college, but at this point it doesn't look like it will be feasible. Guess she isn't really a "friend" if she can't find the time to visit with me before she departs to college. Oh well, probably won't know her in a few years anyway. But before that occurs, I'm going to see a movie in the theaters. (I haven't been to the theaters since the Dark Knight). I will be seeing Rob Zombie's Halloween 2. I didn't like his remake, but I'm still going to see this regardless of his last failure. After those two things are done with, I don't have anything to do. I am jobless and will not be attending college. So I'm expecting a really, really boring year of what's left of it.
Well, I believe that is all for now. Thanks for reading. ![]()
When I go to a restaurant, which isn't often, I usually tend to keep a mindset of not caring about what other people think. However, that mindset quickly diminishes as soon as I see someone watching me eat. When they watch they don't glance, they stare. It is as if they have a problem with me. I look them in the eyes, which is awkward, and then they stop.
**** all of that.
I'd rather eat at home in peace.
Anyone else have this feeling when going into a restaurant by yourself?
