I am one lucky son of a *****.

Last Tuesday a friend of my friend Lauren won a copy of Halo 3 through a raffle. At first she was going to give it to Lauren, who in turn would let me have it (she doesn't have a 360). However, she shortly found out that it was this big game and that if she could probably get some money out of it. So, she decides to eBay it.

Then on Friday, I'm playing bingo with Lauren and two other friends. Time passes and I leave to go to a party. About 30 minutes later, I get a call from Lauren. One of the other friends won a copy of Halo 3. With my board. And they were keeping it.

****.
Two free copies of Halo 3, and none for me. ... or so I thought.

A day later the friend from bingo decides she'll give the game to Lauren, who gives the game to me. I have a free copy of Halo 3 Collectors Edition.

Then tonight I got a call from Lauren. The first friend put the game up on eBay ($70 minimum plus shipping for the Collectors Edition) and nobody bought it. So, she gives the game to Lauren, who in turn gives the game to me.

I now have two free copies of Halo 3 Collectors Edition.

Like I said, I am one lucky son of a *****.

Two free copies of Halo 3....nice! Question, though: why are they giving the game to this friend of yours if she doesn't have a 360?

Lucky! Wait until the first week of December when Collector's Editions are even more scarce and the holiday season is imminent, place it on Ebay, and split the cash with the people that gave you the game.

Awesome.
