I've been waiting a long time for Guitar Hero III, and, thankfully, it is going to be in my Xbox 360 this coming Sunday, and a new, Gibson Les Paul guitar along at its side! 
I'm so phyched for this game. Guitar Hero II is one of my favorite games of all time, and I just started getting bored of it a few weeks ago (had it since release). However, I do have one complaint about the upcoming game...its achievements. Don't get me wrong, though, because I really, really like some of them, but there's a handful in the list that just flat out suck.
At first sight, a lot of them, such as complete the career on righty and lefty, may seem ridiculous, but that's something I consider an actual achievement. You accomplish something. Then there's the sort of odd, but very cool ones, like the fourth one on the list. 
However, I cannot even explain my hatred of some of these next achievements. First there's the online ones. Well, first of all, that isn't fair to people without Xbox Live (I'm not one of them, but you see the point), and the fact that there's so many ways to manipulate the system and unfairly obtain them. Some online achievements, I'm fine with, such as the Halo 3 ones, but winning 15 consecutive songs twice? Lame. And now, may I present, the ULTIMATE stupid, idiotic, dumb, brainless, dazed, deficient, foolish, gagged up, irrational, illogical, absurd, incongruous, nonsensical, ludicrous, ridiculous, preposterous, senseless, shtick, and unreasonable achievements to end the very throught of achievements.
Win 15 consecutive ranked matches using a standard controller
and
Play through a career on the hard of expert difficulty using a standard controller.
I shouldn't even have to explain why I say that. I mean, seriously, how -insert previous 19 terms for nonsense here, which has now changed to 20 with nonsense included- can Neversoft be?
But, hey, at least they only screwed up some of the achievements. They appeared to have gotten everything else right...oh wait, I forgot one more thing....
BULLS ON PARADE FOR RAGE AGAISNT THE MACHINE? IS THAT A JOKE?! KNOW YOUR ENEMY, KNOW YOUR ENEMY, KNOW YOUR ENEMY!!!

Oh, and I forgot...100 MILLION POINTS TOTAL IN CAREER?! That's more than five times of what I have in Guitar Hero II's career! Either there's some massive points to be had in GH III, or Neversoft is a bunch of raving drunks.
