Did anyone see this? I guess it is kind of like what the Game Boy Advanced was to the Game Boy Color. It is not an entirely new model and will come out in 2011(allegedly). I heard it will be almost the same except with better graphics and maybe a hardrive. People are calling it "Wii HD" but it is not the official name.Click the link above if you want to read more about it.

People call it the "Wii HD" but I say that a better name for it would be "Why HD"??? People really care too much for HD graphics. And to tell you the truth, I don't think that the next Wii will be in HD anyway

I'm thinking no. Nintendo would upset all of the casual gamers who just bought a Wii. Nintendo is too smart to do that.

I don't think it is going to happen, because Iwata said that they won't release a new system unless they find new idea.

In an E3 interview, Nintendo stated that they are not working on any WII HD. Thats either a lie or they just have to keep it hidden, also the model in the picture is the black wii thats getting released in japan. It is interesting though and i happened to stumble across this article too, but a few months ago.

I think the article is slightly outdated there... but nintendo was honestly lost my interest as it seems the games primarily appeal to the below 10 yr old demographic

I don't think that will happen, Nintendo's first HD console will only come out next gen.
