It's nearly here, the show (almost) everyone's been talking about airs next Monday on Five.
FlashForward has brilliant credentials; It's directed by 24's Brannon Braga and created by award-winning writers such as Blade's David S.Goyer, but will it live up to the hype? Many are dubbing it the next Lost, and frankly I hope it's better that that. Don't get me wrong, I loved Lost, but it's become way too confusing and that's really sucked the life out of it for me.
Luckily we won't have to wait too long to find out if it's as good as everyone's saying (including our American team, here at TV.com, who've already seen the pilot), it airs next week, just four days after its US premiere. How brilliant is that! The speed at which American acquisitions are now making their way over to the UK is really starting to look up. Please take note, BBC.
On TV.com UK:
Thanks to everyone who gave their suggestions about the TV.com UK podcast. We'll be making our way onto iTunes soon and your ideas have been really incisive for us--we want to make it as in-tune to you guys as possible.
We're also working hard to bring you more original features. What do you guys think about the Merlin and Peep Show previews and reviews that were added last Friday? We're going to be adding an increasing amount of original written content, including more features and reviews, and we'd love to know what you'd like to see.
Orphan Guides:
As the new season of TV kicks off there are a growing amount of new shows in need of a loving editor. I'm aware that many of you are reluctant to take them on at the moment, but as there are some really decent shows on their way I thought I'd mention it anyway. Here are the highlighted British orphan guides:
