You have now entered my blog. You must read it. There is no turning back once your browser loads this WORD!

See? No escape!

This is a good chance for me to lecture you, having trapped you here and all.

Lesson 1! "What should I do if a bear attacks!?"

The solution is simple. You find another bear and start wrestling with it. This way the attacking bear will notice that you're busy and leave.

I just made you smarter than your French teacher! Now get out there and brag about it!

Lesson 2! Stuff has been made hard for consumers!

I don't know if it's on purpose or something.

I just received a notification saying there's something wrong with my BlazBlue order. I checked 4 times and everything was correct, but it STILL wouldn't let my order through. Damn you, GameStop!

Now I won't be getting my bonus DVD, OST and the pretty artbook..! I have to order it from Renchi without all those bonus goodies.. It'll take a good while to ship, too! Why make a region free console if importing is almost impossible!?

BB was my most anticipated game of the year, but somehow my hype for it.. Died a bit thanks to not getting it at the same time as everyone else. I've also heard of tons of casuals starting the game just for its visuals. I hope it won't be the next SFIV, swarming with people who don't even know what a Rapid Cancel is.. The fighting game genre really is attracting the wrong kinds of people. No offense to anyone, of course; you just need to become good.

Anyways, I think I need something to play while waiting for BlazBlue. I have three titles on my mind, which are Armored Core: For Answer, Sonic's Ultimate Collection (or whatever its name is) and Eternal Sonata. They're all horribly overpriced, though. Even though AC isn't that new, it's still 50 euros. And while the 360 version of Eternal Sonata is only 30 euros, the PS3 one is 60! The Sega Collection is 40 euros, which is a pretty reasonable price considering that you basically pay a single euro per game. Still, it's much cheaper in the States.. Oh, for those of you who don't know, one euro is about 1,4 USD at the moment.

Aaaanyways, which one would you guys recommend?

By the way, Sony might be considering making the PS3 backwards compatible again. This time without additional hardware, though. Just in case you haven't heard yet.

I guess that's pretty much it.

Oh, one last thing! I'm going to the countryside for a couple of weeks soon. I might actually even do some work there, haha! Maybe I should save Shin Megami Tensei DS until that. As "fun" as physical work is, I might get bored and hunger for some gaming goodness. Oh well, I'll probably write a blog before going. I'm not that active though, so you wouldn't notice the difference anyways.

Happy Canada Day. Maple syrup for everyone!

It seems my copy of BlazBlue has just begun shipping. Woot! Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I can't wait to pit these two against each other! Promises to be an epic match, huh?

The first farting robot I've seen. Wowzerz.

Anyways, sorry I haven't been so active lately. I'm planning on fixing that issue, though. Like, right now!

Sooo, I've been playing Shin Megami Tensei DS for a couple of days now. I really like it, but the battles could be a little less annoying. Not hard, just plain annoying sometimes. I'll let you know my thoughts once I finish it.

Oh, I have a question. Katamari Damacy Tribute is coming out in Japan in a month or so. Should I import it upon JP release or wait two extra months and get the US version?

I'd like to get the Japanese one (knowing the language and all), but I wonder how the Trophies/save files work. I know that a Japanese save file won't work with an American copy, but I can have two save files of one game (one for the American/PAL and one for the Japanese copy), right? Also, do I get the Trophies for each version separately, or will they overwrite each other or something? Sorry, I suck at explaining stuff. But Google hasn't helped me, so here's hoping someone among you knows about these things.

Still trying to break that Katamari record.. Gave up on FFVII thanks to those GODDAMN CHOCOBOS.. So bored.

I need that now. That's how bored I am.

I leave you with.. I don't even know what this is.

We're gonna party like it's my birthday now! You know why? Because it is. DUH. When else would you party like it's my birthday? Sheesh.

And by partying like it's my birthday I obviously mean sitting in a damp corner, trying to break the known We Love Katamari's Medium Sumo record (currently 596 kg, my record is 582 ). While eating cake! Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Well, these guys are certainly partying.

Cleared KHDays around 4 am this morning. It was surprisingly good! It filled up a few plot holes nicely. I'm still lacking a few Crowns, but after getting those I'll unlock the last secret character, which I won't spoil.

Today is (as far as I know) the release date of Shin Megami Tensei DS and C.O.R.E.! I should get them. Yes.

Hmm. PSP owners rejoice: you're getting Chinatown Wars! Okies. No more of that.

Watched Gojira vs King Ghidorah yesterday. A cIassic, don't you think? Battles between gigantic Japanese lizards don't get much better than this. Especially since one of them is radioactive and the other one shoots lightning from its THREE mouths! Oh, did I mention that Ghidorah was also turned into a half-mecha dragon!? It's been a long time since I last saw that movie. ..I know, I know. Geeky stuff. Move along, nothing to see here except for a couple of berserking mutant reptiles!

Ahh, I miss those olden, golden monster movies. So damn awesome.

Only a week until BlazBlue ships! Its 360 version seems to have leaked upon the Intarwebz, though, so some pirates are already playing it.. x.x Still, I'm somehow proud to own a mod-proof PS3.

Speaking of which, Arakune's Astral Heat is lame. .__. You could really do a little better job coming up with an ultimate attack for a shapeshifting blob than a clichéd flying EYEBALL. Blarg. It's a clone of Pikachu's Final Smash; the only difference is that you can also teleport instead of only being able to float about..

I preordered my copy of Tekken 6 the instant I heard about the GameStop bonuses. I was among the first to read the GS article about it, so I'm quite positive I was in time. I need that Cardboard Tube Samurai outfit.

I'm glad Yoshimitsu doesn't have the emo hairstyIe, though.

Hmm. I really have nothing more to say. Happy birthday to me. What could I spend all this money on..?

Games, what else!?

HavQ-san must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could HavQ-san possibly have for not rating a single film?
