I just got an XBOX at 229.97 canadian and I thought that was too much so what the price Microsoft has for the 360 well guess what I'm not even going to consider getting that cus what is the sense. I shudder to think what it would cost here in Canada.

It's not that overpriced..........you have to remember that Microsoft is losing a lot of money with each 360 that they sell.......

Yea, what uhoh said. I think it's cheap. Isn't the console just like 300 dollars, which comes with games and controller. Preordering it adds up the cost, but other than that. Didn't the Xbox come out at 400 bucks?

Not really. You forget how buisness works. For each product they make they sell it 2x its normal vaule. So in reality they are making a huge profit. But they are losing money by making them and not selling them. I'll have enough money, but i wont buy it until all the bugs are worked out.

It's not "overpriced". It's an incredible piece of technological hardware. Okay, so $399 was more than I was expecting. Still, its Microsoft and you better move out of there way. In round 2, they want to make a profit and they'll price things as they need to accomplish their lofty goal.

Well think of this. PS3 is going to cost easily 100 dollars more than the 360 (the 400$ one) and $200 more than the $300 one. So ur better off with the 360 buddy.
