I'm a bit upset at my University right now, well, the students at it anyways. So first of all I got a letter saying that I have to right a mandatory test a few months ago. Today was the day that the test was supposed to be on. I went to building that the letter said to come in and went to a classroom to start writing the test. Some of the questions were really hard. I was starting to get a little worried.
After about 20 minutes some guy said he was finished the test. The instructors didn't believe that he could possibly finish so quickly so one of them looked at the test and said that practically everything was wrong. They gave him a new test to completely restart. After the instructors said that the test needed to be written in pen that guy stood up and kicked down a TV that was in the corner of the room then left. One of the instructors said that they were calling security and also left. This made me VERY distracted. I couldn't believe that just happened. After another little while I looked up to see the remaining instructor put shaving cream on his face. I kept wondering if it was to lighten the mood, so people wouldn't get nervous about University. Then I got totally surprised when a bunch of older students came running in the classroom screaming that the test was fake. They had us rip the tests up. That was the good part. Anything past that was a nightmare. They wanted us to scream cheers involving beer and swearing. I don't swear and I don't like beer! So I didn't do that. No way I'm giving up on who I am!
The students led us outside and we were forced to watch a play they made. I can't believe that something like this would be allowed! They were swearing all over the place and it was extremely inappropriate. Next we got into groups and had to do humiliating things. Everyone in the group had to step forward, say their name and...favourite position. I was like "WHAT ON EARTH!?" in my mind. There was even this girl that was saying that people could show it to her (while still clothed). I still can't believe something like this happened. Luckily someone refused to answer that, so they switched to something SLIGHTLY more appropriate: favourite body part. Still sick messed up people!!! You don't talk about that kind of stuff with a bunch of strangers, especially not in public.
It gets a little worse, but I don't want to discuss that here. In short, this gave me a REALLY, REALLY bad impression of my university. Students are crazy...

Seriously?! What in the world?? Has it really come to that?
That's terrible, mate... All I can say is to avoid that crowd if you can help it...

Curtis1560: Except it was actually AT the University and allowed.
Dapie: I'll try. I'm hoping I never run into them again. I was so disturbed and I still am. I don't get how the University could allow students to throw something like that. Last year in high school things like that couldn't even be considered. It's so creepy and awkward.

Look at it this way, when they say 'look to the left, look to the right, 1 of these people won't be here by the end of the year', chances are people won't be looking at you

Were you going Greek? It sounds like part of an initiation.

Wow, that happened at the university? That sounds completely out of hand. Something like that would also be completely unacceptable at the high school I'm at. I'd definitely have a bad impression of the university as well and I wouldn't even bother going there anymore.
I don't understand though...your instructor putting on shaving cream during the test? Ripping up your test papers because they said it was fake? Something definitely doesn't seem right

ebbderelict: Yeah, probably not.
Helostwin: Hah, initiation? I never thought of it that way.
Platyphyllum: I already paid. I can't back out now. I'm not sure if I want to participate in any social events though. A repeat of this would be awful. The whole test thing was messed up. The letter I got looked so real!
paul939: Aw man it does!
megatonB: I hope you don't too. If they keep this up I might be anti-social in University and avoid people.
