After being arrested and charged of commiting fruad on December 9th, 2008, Governer Rod Blagojevich was found gulity of Impecment charges as of Januray, 29th, 2009.

So today is September 13th, 6 days after Spore has launched for us here in the United States. I can say that, for the most part, Spore has been a very enjoyable experience. I love that you can create your own creatures, vehicles and ships. I also enjoy how your creations can appear in other peoples games.

However, with that being that said, Spore still has many flaws. One of the most significant and the one I keep seeing repeated across many Spore message boards is found in one of the five stages in Spore. The Space stage. The main complaint against this stage is that the random events (i.e pirate raids, random enemy attacks, etc....) occur way too often.

I must say that I agree with these complaints. You could be half-way across the galaxy, building up your colonies or completing a mission for an ally, only to have to fly back to your home system to stop pirates taking your resources. While, random events are not necessarily a bad thing, but they are when they occur every two minutes and prevent you from enjoying the game. So I started searching the Internet for an unofficial fix/patch/tweak for this problem, since EA has said nothing about an official patch.

After two days of searching, I am glad to say that I did find a fix. This fix comes in many different flavors, which can limit these random events to every 30 minutes or 100 hours.

But the good news doesn't end there. Sill on my epic Internet Journey, I found a trainer that allows you to unlock all badge, which in-turn gives you access to all weapons/tools.

I found that if you use the 100 hour flavor of the above mentioned patch/fix and the trainer together, creates a perfect sandbox mode.
