Ever since I've gotten back from Louisiana, I've kind of forgotten about getting the PS2. I'm still getting it though, and I might actually have some help. It seems my younger sister would like to play Guitar Hero a lot as well. Her birthday is next week and she's already gotten $35 for it. I've convinced her to save her money and help me get Guitar Hero II eventually, so then we'll have two controllers and both games. I now have $122 and my $80 to Best Buy, so I'm very close to getting it. I'm actually shopping around a bit. Chris (the same sleepy one on the trip) knows a guy who owns a Trade N' Games near where I live. I may be able to get a better deal on a PS2 there, but we'll have to see..

I will soon be done with the last-gen! Well, after I get a whole bunch of PS2 games I want. I'm already going to forget a lot of them, just so I can start saving for a 360, but I want to have a decent amount of good games. Here is the list of Xbox/PS2 games I still want. These may vary as I remember more.

...and that's pretty much it. Feel free to tell me what I missed or that something should not be included.

Bully is a great game. The Simpsons Hit & Run is a fun little game and its difficulty is just about right. It's not too easy neither is it too hard.

I don't know that the PS2 will be my favorite last-gen console. I love my Xbox I'm sure I'll like it, though...

In the end I think the PS2 was my favorite console as well. Mmmmm...Maybe not. I had so many good times with my Xbox too. Ah, I remember those long summer days I spent with it...

Anyways, great selection of games. There are many other great games for the PS2 and Xbox you don't have but you have a lot of the greats. Here is my opinion on the best PS2 games.

1. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

2. Resident Evil 4

3. Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence

4. God of War

5. Guitar Hero

6. Shadow of the Colossus

7. Bully

8. Final Fantasy XII

9. Okami

10. Half-Life (Only Good Exclusive Shooter on PS2)

In my opinion this is the definitive list. You own these 10 you are set to go. All these games could last you the life of your PS2 as well. I mean, 80 hours for GTA, 25 for RE4, 65 for FFXII, Endless for Guitar Hero.

Good luck man

I aggree where did you go?!?

You haven't posted for almost a month. What has happened???

I think he died folks. The world is so cruel!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

You know, I was just joking before when I said I thought he died, but really how do we know? I'm not saying he IS dead, but if I suddenly killed over tomorrow I doubt my parents would log on to gamespot and tell everyone.

Now, he probably didn't die, but let's look at the evidence - - He was always very active and an officer in more than a couple unions - He hasn't made any form posts since Januarry 22nd - He didn't leave the infamous "I'm Leaving" blog - When he stopped being active it was very sudden, he didn't slowly start to post less and less until he faded from existance. He just vanished.

Now the above evidence suggests that something may have happened to him, but there is one other peice of evidence that seems to discredit this and that is that assuming Game Spot isn't having some sort of technical error. Griffer last logged in was January 22nd, while the last time he posted anything was January 2nd. Therefore I see a few possibilities.

Griffer really is dead and it's just a g-spot error. - unlikely

Griffer really is dead, and his mom logged on to this site to let everyone know, but then when she was typing it up see choked up and shut down the computer - very unlikely

Griffer just lost interest in all of this. He decided to do other things with his life other than post here. I think if this were the case he would have let us know but, who knows.

Griffer found some other site that he's really into right now, logged in once on the 22nd and didn't do anything. He's grounded.

This is all some sort of cruel practical joke and he checked in on the 22nd to laugh at all of us crying because he's not here.

Now, I would be very surprised if Griffer was actually dead. I think that for whatever reason he just hasn't been on hardly at all this past month.

Griffer, if and when you read this, please come back. We all miss you and consider you our friend. We just want you back buddy.

I've been missing Griffer since he left. I might have to demote him in all of my unions soon. Come back, Griffer if you want to keep your job(s).
