Between things like, Duke Nukem being reconfirmed in developement, Armored Core and Earth Defense force both coming out (i think i'm going pass on both), this is turning into a little bit of a busy week in gaming goodness.

But in other news, that dirty little rumor that's been popping up here and there for the last 6 months seems to be getting a little closer to the truth with every sighting... friend to some, a kick between the legs to other, it seems like the xbox 360 v.2 is soon to be on the way.  I'm sure everyone knows the skinny by now.. hdmi, bigger harddrive, all in black etc. etc.

I dont know, if i had a super happy tv, and some miraculous connection where i could stream a movie on it......then i might..... well.. then actually, i'd probably be rich and wouldn't care about dropping down anything $460 for the new model.  Buuuuut as it is, i'm not rich, yet... and my current one's working mostly just fine...  so i think i'm going to be holding onto v.1 until MS decides to run some code down xbl that fries it out and makes that decision for a new one, for me....

* ponders whether 360 v.2 is leon's entry point *

* looks at sad old-skool Sony 34" tube TV needing upgrade first * ( I justified _that_ TV to better enjoy my Dreamcast games on that sweet S-Video technology, believe it or not, kids)

I'm going with the too much money part. i'd be willing to give into some 65" hype...lol

I had an HDTV a few years back. Not really hype and all you need to do is stroll into your local store that carries them and you can see that. The pictures is considerably and very noticeably better. I however have a habit of leaving my tv on a lot though so it burnt out probably a little quicker than it should have. Been wanting new one though and they are even cheaper now than when I bought that one. Very large ones course are out of reach but 33" flat panels can be gotten for under $1000 which is great considering the were over that like a year ago.
New 360,....now if only I had $400+ laying around that I didnlt need for something else.

*ahem* blazer, too much hype is my opinion... who in their right mind would spend that much money for a tv... my 36" flat screen sony trinitron thingy works just fine.. thanks..

and if you have that kind of money laying around, ya'll feel free to shoot some my way.. lol

If you noticed up there, i'm not rich either...So if you do have some laying around, could you throw it my way too, please?

Lying around,.no. I saved for months same as I did for all that PC stuff at the end of last year. Thats was like 8-10 months of saving.
Posted Mar 22, 2007 4:16 pm PT
so we're going to have to wait 8-10 months? oh alright, if we have to... lol

Don't you have like 3 Xbox 360's RG? At $400 a pop I guess I could wonder who in the right mind would buy 3? Hmm....? Anyway, I don't think $700 for a 33" Flat Panel TV is too bad. Not cheap,..but most tech isn't. And I wasn't stomping on your opinion, I just counter-opinioned.
