Hi all

This is the first time I have had a blog past since my laptop died. Yes, you heard me correctly my laptop died so am working off a new laptop. This is a significant improvement over my old pc to the point where I can get back in to pc gaming again. Yay !!

But anyway for the last couple of days I have been playing Assassins Creed which despite the bad review from IGN this game is absolutely amazing and revolutionary. Let me clarify my thoughts in regarding this game for you this game. You could spend ages exploring and it is way better in open ended game play than most other game like this. Also scaling walls NEVER gets old it is such a thrill to leap from roof top to roof top. I would go on but this blog post would turn into a review. This would be kind of pointless at this point the fact I haven't completed this game yet.

The next thing is I finally got Xbox live and with it a free gold pass for a month. Let me say something to begin with Xbox live is not all is cracked up to be because if you have played other games on a normal pc on line its no different apart from two very distinct things. the Xbox live market place and the gamer card which you can put any ware including here on Gamespot. Also most of the older players on xbox live kick you out of the games quite a bit because of your newbee status this made me want to just play single player games. The only truly balanced game I played was team fortress 2. You have to hand it Valve they do make good online shooters. Don't get me wrong I do think it a step up from playing on split screen with a friend. So what I am truly saying is the fact while live still has to go along way to go in pairing people with similar ability's before I buy a subscription.

Also I am really looking forward to see the Hitman movie I have been a huge fan of the games and it refreshing to see another game to movie translation. Hope fully it will be as good as the Tomb Raider was. As this is the first translation I have actually been looking forward to.
