PSYCHE! It totally is!
I bet you feel stupid now. (Put the bat down Kelly!!) You were all like "omg im gonna click this link and its gonna be some life altering amazing experience" and then WHAM you just got hit by the psyche hammer! (Hey I should use that line on girls) "Hey baby you are gonna be real impressed by this " *zip* PSYCHE!-- It looks like a baby carrot thats been left out in the rain
So yeah, this blog is about the oncoming nerd storm of awesome. The sheer whirlwind of happy, twirl around in your lederhosen and slap your rump roast while two supermodels have a pillow fight awesome. Im going to proclaim the games that have caught the awesome ones intrest this season (that would be me), why, and maybe just maybe there will be penguins involved.
Dragonage: Origins collecters edition is bought and paid for, waiting for me like the scrumptious little cherry tart that is. Despite my reservations and outright annoyance at their day one DLC fiasco im going ahead with the purchase. I am a huge WRPG fan, and Baldurs Gate 2: Shadows Of Amn is still probably my all time favorite game. For this I simply can't pass up on what is labeled its spitual succesor. And yes, I will buy the DLC on day one like the coporate whore that I am. Bioware is the only company I believe in enough to do this for. Im still irked about it though.
Borderlands is also a must purchase for me. Gorgeous graphics and looks to be a huge and varied game with lots of RPG and tactical battles and gear looting. This game looks amazing and its a shame most people are going to pass it over. Mark my words here and now, this will be a complete sales disaster of a game.
Assassins Creed II I was one of the biggest detractors around here in regards to the first game and its many annoyances (mainly the repitition) but having closely followed this one it seems to fix everything that was wrong with the first game and then some. My prediction is that this is going to be one of the best games of the year. Can't wait.
Modern Warfare 2 I have been following this one too. It seems they changed the respawning enemy design of the series so that right there means it will actually be good. The special ops mode looks like a lot of fun too. The graphics, story and online look very appealing. Im gonna break down and buy this one for sure. I need a good shooter.
And thats about it for me this year. Anything else will likley be a rental. Although ASAP im trying to get my hands on a PS3 so I can grab Uncharted 2, Demons Soul, Heavy Rain and God Of War 3. But with xmas coming its just not in the finances till after new years.
So are you looking forward to any of these games? No? You suck. Yes? Lets cuddle! Any other games grabbing your intrest this year? Whats hot and whats not for you?
And this brings us to the end of the blog. So sad, play time is over. Bid farewell till next time to the awesome one. But I did say something about penguins didnt I?
.....PSYCHE!!

I already preordered the first two on your list. i'll probably wait until Assassin's Creed has been out for a bit and I already own Demons Souls and Uncharted 2...
you could shove those other games up the hole on your tiny carrot...because you like that kind of stuff and it makes you happy

Dude, sorry about that. I thought I explained my carrot phobia. Ummm, some crazy glue should fix that right up. Seriously. Where the hell have you been by the way? YOu better commence to blogging, or you might find me standing outside with a bat, a crossbow, my brulee torch and a bottle of vinegar some night. Trust me, you don't want that.

lol sorry guys I have a good excuse as to why I haven't been around. Im being hunted by a killer penguin god recently awakened from his eons of slumber. It appears he may be what causes the end of world. His name is the dreaded one, penguinar. Right now im rounding up the other power rangers to do battle.
Oh yeah also I became a power ranger.
GO GO POWER RANNGEEERRS.

I usually love Bioware games, but i am not interested in dragonage. Borderlands seems interesting. I could not care less about MW2. I did not play AC1, but iam thinking about obtaining 2 if the content is varied enough.

Heavy Rain and GOW3 wont be out for another 6-8 months. If you dont own a PS3 by then, you DESERVE to get eaten by a Penguin. (or did i read that wrong?)
I am personally interested in Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed 2 and borderlands to a lesser extent, but I wont be BUYING any of those games. MW2 looks like MW1, only with no respawning enemies, but the core scripted as **** design is the same. Now u r thinking here's a guy who loves cinematic games, thinks Uncharted 2 is the bestest game of the forvever!!!!! so why doesnt he like something as cinematic as MW? Well, for one, it's a shooter that has you running aruond most of the time, with the only memorable sections being the on the rail segments. I might as well play a light gun game. AC2 i was excited for, until i saw the recent vids and realized aside from the variety in gameplay, it's the same exact game. It still has a story I dont give a **** about, and cutscenes that look atrocious. I'll pass. Borderlands I might get, if I really get into it once I rent the game. It looks interesting to say the least.

Im actually more excited about the PSP lineup this year more than anything else really. GT5, Resistance Retribution and Motorstorm PR are on my must buy list, so is GOW CHains of Olympus, even though I've beaten it already. For $15, its a must buy for an PSP owner. Best game on the system by far. Other than that, i would most likely be playing Uncharted 2 all the way till December. Im already replaying the single player (Still on normal) so with hard and Crushing to go, i would replaying it at least twice more. Then there is the coop campaign which is going to be tons of fun to go through with vader, rag, argianas and steel. again crushing difficulty FTW! Then there's the awesome multiplayer and coop Horde mode. Cant wait to try it.
So yeah, no more new current gen games for me this holiday season. Will spent most of the time platinuming Batman, Uncharted 2, RE5, KZ2 and if I really get into it, MW2 multiplayer. am not touching the single player this time around. wrote too much.... oops.
