I will be honest, I'm not a book friendly person, most of the stuff I read are newspapers and many internet articles so almost all the books I have read in my life are because I have to because of schoolassignments.

And so while some of the books I read were nice, many were just garbage and I know how to recognise a good story.

But this year is a little different, this time I have a pretty hardcore line up of books for Literature class, I have to read both The Odyssey and Treasure Island almost simultaneously, my test of the former is in November, my test of the latter is next week, so far I love both of them, still have 4 other books to readtroughthe year.

And that's it, for once I have the chance of reading actually good stuff at school, no more lame, boring and notanalysis-worthy stories.

We never read anything good at our school. I like reading good books though.

I have no idea why these so called high society teachers usually can't come with a decent read for their students, heck I even burned a book in 6th grade because it was so awfully bad, ironically that was the test about a book where I get the highest grade that year.

Burning books?! My goodness, how rebellious. I should try that sometime.

That book was so bad that the day just after the test me and a friend, ripped it up, made ourselves a festival, we put it's pages on the blender, and we then put some flammable glue over it and set it on fire, it was a nice day but when my mother discovered it she made me to promise to never do that again on the house... she never said anything about other places though

Heh, what was the book about?

It was an extremely lame book about varied stories around a group of teenagers, the first chapter made no sense, the book tried to made the stories believable enough, it succeeded as I considered that the situation could actually happen to people of that age, except the last chapters around a trial (which was the most absurd part), but none of the situations were interesting in the slightest, characters are boring, almost zero character evolution and stories where not related with each other, so there was no main plot, oh and it had the worst freaking title of any book, "Todo al mismo tiempo ahora" (All at the same time now).

It's "zero" not "cero".
Sounds pretty bad.

Good thing you're enjoying it! I still have some crappy reading assignments for my Portuguese class...
I think it only gets better next year for me
