Well, first of all as my classification of him says... He is truly an original. I went to high school with Mark (he graduated in 2003 and I graduated in 2005). When he was a freshman he finished the year off with bang. He starred in our high school's production of Grease in the lead role of Danny Zucko (I'm not sure if I spelled that correctly). I was only in seventh grade at them time, but every year we have a big orchestra festival at the end of the year with grades 6-12 playing and the high school students played some of the music from Grease while the actors sung them. It was amazing. I knew the moment I met him my freshman year that he would be famous one day. He had already made himself known at our school as the guy in chick pants who could pull off an incredible Michael Jackson impersonation (moonwalk, voice, and all). It sucked when he didn't make it into the top ten on American Idol.

His performance as Ren McCormack (along side my friend and classmate Amanda Morales as Ariel) in our school's production of Footloose was AWESOME!!! I bought a tape of it to watch over and over again.

Now Mark is working on his music, which is amazing by the way. You must visit his website and have a listen to it. I just know that one day the signature of his I have in the season one American Idol book will be worth a lot when he becomes famous.
