I've lost two 360's (1st was a 2006, 2nd was a 2007). Thankfully, my 3rd one hasn't died.

I would still buy one for the exclusives but any 3rd party title that is multiplatform, I would go for the PS3 version.

On another note: I'm somewhat amazed nothing has happened to my console recently. My room tends to get very dusty and -- on more than one occasion recently -- I've had to wipe a handful of dust off the top of the 360. It's been running like a champ, though. Granted, I haven't been playing as often lately, but still... more than a year now with no incident (other than the occasional software crash).

James: Well be ready for yours to fail on you at any moment. When it does it will completely suck! When mine died this time, I had no warning at all. The system hadn't been freezing or anything. It just wouldn't turn on and gave me the 3 red rings instead. Like I said before, I seriously hope they send me a refurbished or replacement system with an HDMI input. That would be awesome.

Yeah, I'm countin' on it going down at some point. It'll probably happen while I'm in the midst of Arkham Asylum or something like that. This thing's worse than the NES with its cursed pin connector.

I've got three 360, one sits in a cabinet and gets way too hot, one is on the floor and must be dusty inside, the other sits high up on my desk. The only problem I have is with the one that's on the floor that crashes randomly in only some games.
My luck astonishes me.

Microsoft is taking their sweet time sending my box back to me. Looks like I won't have it until Tuesday June 16th. (listen to my Chirbit on my newest post)
