That's been my life lately.

Its like we've hit the Flu & Cold Bermuda Triangle. No escape.

We get sick, we get better, we get sick, we get better. Its been going on like this for almost 2 months now.

Last night we had to take one of the girls to the ER because she couldn't stop puking. She's got stomach flu and a bad cold. I got luckyand just got the cold, YAY.

So we've been lounging around sucking down nyquil and gatorade. watching Ace of Cakes and Good Eats reruns and playing handhelds til our hands cramp up into claws.

Right now I'm playing Nostalgia. Its kinda bland and generic yet I can't seem to stop playing it. I started a A Witche's Tale but since the first time my character spoke I wanted to slap her til her head spins I stopped playing.

I've also blown $15 on songs for Rock Band Unplugged. And yes, I am just as big a spazz playing Rockband on the PSP as I am playing Guitar Hero on the 360.

I tried Half Minute Hero for about 5 minutes and came to the realization that I suck under pressure.

So today I got 2 kids to school and one home to fight over the gatorade with.

kids in school - yeah that never ending cycle of illness is part of that. Flu is brought home and when one person gets it everyone has it and then the neighbors. And if you went shopping before you got sick it is on the cart. My last but came when the neighbors little girl picked something up at school, I was comparing baseball cards and playing 360 with her daddy around that time.

I am srsly thinking about Beatles Rockband -- I really should finish the games I have before buying another, but it has never stopped me before

Kids are walking petrie dishes, seriously. I've been thinking of gettin regular Rockband, I ujst don't know how to justify buying MORE plastic instruments. Plus I want to get DJ Hero too...So i can relive the 80's lol

What I want to know is why it is that whenever kids get sick suddenly they feel the need to hug and kiss and rub up on you every 5 minutes?

Half the time I try to hug my oldest daughter she just kind of leans her head in towards me (she's not a touchy-feely type pesron) but as soon as she starts coughing or sneezing or what not, suddenly she's wrapped around my leg as I try to walk through the house.

children are a joy, but there are certain times where the joy is tempered to some degree

Lots of fluids, particularly ones high in vitamin C, start taking echinacea pills (natural herb to boost your body's immunity system), wash your hands after everything and CLEAN things. Maybe one of the reasons you keep getting sick is because the viruses are able to stay alive on different surfaces that you keep touching and, thus, keep allowing to invade your bodies, not to imply that you live in a dirty house or anything

Other than that look at the bright side: You're spending quality time with each other!
