That's quite a list! There are several shows there that I enjoyed and am extremely disappointed about being cancelled. My fear is that the networks will be going with "reality" programming because it's cheaper to produce and any viewership makes it a hit. I really liked The Unusuals IMO it was worth saving. Shows I will miss Boston Legal, I just don't know what I will do without Denny Crane and Alan Shore . I'm also sad about ER this final season was awesome, the show really got it's groove back.

Several of the shows on this list had seriously outstayed their welcome ("According to Jim" and "ER") while others had no business being on the air at all ("Knight Rider" and "Sit Down, Shut Up"). Others still had simply run their course and ended on a high ("Battlestar Galactica", "Boston Legal" and "The Shield"). The rest were more of "No one is watching? Let's move on" cancellations. I don't think anyone will be shedding any tears for "Cupid".

I'm sad about "the Unusuals" and "Without A Trace". It was time for "Prison Break" to be done though.

Of that entire list, the only two programs I saw were "The Unusuals" and "The Middleman", the latter of which was meant only as a temporary fill-in (loved it, but saw that it didn't stand a chance). As for "The Unusuals", it was quirky, but, it lacked believeability for a comedy/drama, and a lot of it was difficult to follow, and most of the characters seemed to have a 6-month time limit for whatever reason, so no surprise, there, either. Of the rest of the shows, I never even heard of half of them, and the remainder didn't pique my interest. Of course, not that any continuing series or shows are of any value, either!

I loved "The Middleman" too. An affectionate homage to the superhero genre, it was just silly enough, without being over the top. And I am disappointed in the demise of "The Eleventh Hour" and "Life on Mars", which I think actually ended up improving on the British originals that inspired them.

Wow, lots of shows. That's too bad.
