Have you ever asked anybody a question, and they respond with "Well, to be honest" or "To be completely honest" ? Does that irk anybody else? Are you really asking a question, in hopes of getting a dishonest answer?

And what does that say about the person you are asking the question too? Does that mean that normally they do not answer questions honestly? I mean really, how are you to ever trust someone when they answer a question in that manner? Why do they have to tell you that they are about to be honest? Do they assume that you know they have been lying every other time they answered a question? WTF!!!!

Moving on,

Ahhh, a nice lone holiday weekend here in the sates, and I am once again doing the bachelor thing. However, this time it was my choice. Stacey and her sister are heading down to SC for a 4th of July part up in the Smokey Mountains, I had ZERO desire to go, so I am staying home for a weekend full of XBOX LIVE!!

I had hoped to have Tiger Woods 2010 here, but something tells me that it will not arrive in the mail in-time for me to play it over the weekend. Oh well, it's not like Tiger 09', Forza 2 and Vegas 2 won't keep me busy!

Have any of you been playing the beta for 1 vs 100? If you like trivia, you will LOVE that game. I never watched the TV game show, but I am really having a great time with the LIVE game.

That's it for now, everybody have a SAFE weekend and make sure you come home with all your fingers and other limbs attached in the right places.

******* Mild Rant Ahead *****

Ok, so I have pretty much been a bachelor for the past 5 weeks. Stacey has been really busy with work, which has kept her on the road, and then she took a small vacation with her parents. It has been the better part of three weeks now that I have not seen her. So just that you understand, I have been left alone with three cats, and a three level townhouse to take care of, yard and all. In other words, I have been busy in a home kind of way.

Also, as you might know (if you have been tracking me for a while) we started a HUGE home remolding project back in like January, we are about 90% done now. During this past week I have been putting the final touches on some antique built in corner cabinets that we bought, and was busy putting all the doors, shelves, glass and hardware back on them, no easy task considering they were hand made and each part has to go back where it came from, can't mix them up even though they are identical.

So after the frustrating process of fitting really thin glass sections into doors yesterday, and trying to clean up, my stress level was pretty much at the top. The cats were driving me nuts, it felt like it was 100 degrees in the house, and I had cracked one pane of glass. Needless to say I was in no mood for visitors......

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK... or more like BAM BAM BAM! On the front door. My hands were full of tools and other odds & ends so by the time I made it to the door, the visitor had already started to knock again. And after nearly killing myself by tripping over two darting cats, I opened the door to find a very nice looking, well dressed young man. A door- to- door sales person that had what appeared to be three plastic spray bottles on his belt.

As I said hello to the fellow, I had to quickly bend over to keep one of the cats from bolting outside (they are indoor cats). So there I am, all covered in paint chips, dust and sweating my behind off and holding a wild beast in my arms hoping I come out of it with little blood loss.

The sales guy introduces himself, and asks if "I am the man of the house"..... sure, if you want to pretend it's the turn of the century, I guess I am. Any way, he started into a spiel about a new house cleaner that I just had to let him in to show me. Before he really got into it, I said "You know, Sam... I am really dirty, hot, and right in the middle of trying to finish up some work around here, I will have to say thanks, but no thanks."

Well.... I guess this is not what Sam wanted to hear. And even though he could learly see that I had my hands full and was busy , he launched into a tirade about " why do I have to be so rude" and how " he was so polite" and did not deserve to be treated that way!?!?! He turned around and started walking away, muttering words under his breath.

This my friends, is something that I have a hard time dealing with, especially when you came to MY HOUSE at 6:30pm when I was IN THE MIDDLE OF SOMETHING..... YOU INTURPETED ME YOU (insert modded word here).

It's a good thing I have been trained in the art of not killing people, because this dude would have ended up in a freaking hospital if I had lost it.

So as he was walking away, I calmly said "Excuse me, but why don't you come back tomorrow and I will set aside 15 minutes for you?" He proceeded to walk away with out another word. This is a good thing, because if he comes back tonight I have NO intention of giving him the time of day.

Good luck in your sales career Sam, looks like you are on the right track.

So a few of us have been getting into some Forz2, I decided to make a MGU car. I was trying to do one thing, it did not work, so I went a little wacky.... it's sure an eye sore!

Please do not attempt this at home.
