I've been playing games since the early 1980's.
My first game was a Popeye Game & Watch by nintendo. My first console was a 1985 model NES. My first games were Taito's Bubble Bobble, and a combination cartridge with both Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt on it. I've also owned a Super Nintendo, a Gameboy, a Gameboy Color, a Super Gameboy, a Nintendo 64, and a Nintendo Game Cube. I had several games for those consoles but after my father died in a hospital on October 17, 2001, I figured I needed to be willing to sacrifice whatever I loved... So I relinquished those consoles and games to my cousin Donovan. I missed all my games but the two I really missed were Perfect Dark and Super Smash Bros. I also had Super Smash Bros. Melee for Gamecube. I still have yet to reclaim those consoles and games but I don't miss them as much as I thought I would anymore. Over the years I've also sold some of them. Actually I stand corrected at least partially. I still have my Gameboy color I just don't use it. I still have some of my Gamecube games but I don't use them. Since then in no particular order I bought a Playstation 2, I bought an Xbox 360, got an xbox as a gift and bought another myself just so I could play Iron Phoenix with someone else in the same room as me via Systemlink. Its alot like how Counterstrike's multiplayer is set up. I used to play Iron Phoenix alot. Infact my Gamertag choice is because of my preferred Armor and Weapon choice in that game. I'd usually choose Kai as my character, the Viking armor and the Ash Blade. The caps on the word BLADE is because like the character in the movie BLADE, I'm black and if given a choice of weapons, I like wielding a sword. I loved the game Iron Phoenix and at one point Francesca Reyes loved it too I don't know what happened to skew her opinion of the game but that's beside the point. Glitchy as it was its the only game out there where you can wall run and be a master of several chinese martial arts weapons against and/or with other players in teams of 8 fighting in 16 player simultaneous matches. I haven't played the game in a while because its NOT Backwards Compatible with the 360 . When I bought my 360 initially I had heard it would be BC with all Xbox games. Then came the further news that that would gradually be attained overtime. Suffice it to say not all games are BC with the 360 as of now. Some are but not all. I had to say good-bye to alot of friends I made in the game because of this. Well that, the fact that once you upgrade to gold for the 360 its not a Backwards compatible account with your prior xbox account, and the fact that I didn't want to be charged twice for the same account . I don't use my prior xbox's account at all I really hope that as of now they realize that. They should, I thought I ended it but just to be on the safe side...
