I am not sure if I ever have talked about this subject on this site or not and if I have. Oh well, here we go again. I just think that they are just like any other friendship. If its not cultivated it will be lost. I remember when I first came on here just like most of us. We did not have that many friends. But as time went on you started making friends. And sometimes they were folks from your country and perhaps they were from another one. I think its wonderful. If you are lucky enough to make friends with someone else from a different country or at least keep in contact with them then that is a good thing. There are so many different people and cultures out there and for you to be able to experience this is great. I have made friends with people from different parts of the world and I welcome it. I don't turn down a friendship. This is what makes the internet a wonderful thing. Meeting people you would not ordinarily meet. And it allows you to learn something about another country.

I was in the Navy for 5 years and I was able to see different parts of the world. I actually lived in the Phillipines for two years and loved it. I welcomed their culture in and even was able to speak their language. Something I would not have been able to do if my mind remained closed and did not welcome learning something new and fascinating. After learning to speak enough of their language to be considered dangerous it opened up more possibilities. Allowing me to connect with the ones who maybe did not speak English all that well. So anytime I have been able to try something new I go for it.

I just felt the need to put this down. Perhaps it will draw positive feedback or perhaps negative but we can all learn a little something from someone. Peace and blessings to you all.

Hello everyone!! I know it has been a minute since I have actually blogged. All I have basically done is pop on here and check out my friends and answer blogs as I have seen them. I do appreciate the ones that do stop in. I do however, need to update you all on my status and the reason I have not been blogging that much. Well, as of March 23, 2007, and after 15 years of being with Verizon, I was laid off due to a Reduction In Force(RIF). I was kind of surprised by it however I could kind of see the writing on the walls. So I have been dilligently trying to get my resume up and running and looking for a job. In the meantime, I am very thankful to my gorgeous fiancee' who has helped me get through this time. I do have to admit it has been challenging but through it I will get. The wedding is still on as planned and as I have told you all I will still update things on the wedding as things continue to progress. And me and my fiancee' have talked about moving in together and have decided that we are going to consolidate household. So hopefully in June she and I will be in one house and that will take a lot of pressure off of me and plus I will be able to assist her around the house. Well anyways, I will keep you updated and try and do a better job of blogging on here. I do hope all continues to be well and that you all will remain in touch and I will try to do the same.
