The game didn't sound too bad. But you know me. For a shooter to interest me, it either has to be developed by Infinity Ward or be outside of the box (Borderlands for example).

I will try it at some point when it's cheap. Well written. *recommended*

@SavoyPrime - Well Ron, I don't know if you tried the demo, and even if you did you still might not be that impressed as I thought the demo really didn't do it much justice, but Red Faction really goes beyond being a shooter, as so much of what you do is centered around explosions, really big explosions that bring down buildings or obliterate tanks, bridges, people etc. It may not be for everyone but it was done so well I think most people should at least consider it.

@celtic1962 - Maybe I should try out the demo then Dave. Just to see.

I tried the demo and wasn't impressed nor disappointed. But if you consider that its price is coming down and that you can destroy practically everything , it might be that I'll buy it in the future.

@SavoyPrime - What is the Co-op like in Borderlands?

You can play with up to 3 other people. They can drop in and out of your game, and not mess up your progress. The difficulty scales back to the number of people in the game (which is balanced well) and just keep on with the current missions you got going. It's not bad playing by yourself, but it is an absolute blast playing with your pals.

For that reason, I'll forgive you. Just this once
