Gaming:

Well I have been playing a bit of everything but the PC lately. I have been focusing on Uncharted 2 and LittleBigPlanet on Playstation 3 (my friend recently got one so we have been doing co-op on that a lot) and also Fifa 10 on Xbox 360. Offline I have been mainly playing Formula One Championship edition (career mode mainly just as I quite like how it works and also that I am taking Toro Rosso into quite a nice place in the constructors table, not first but if we can get a top 5 finish its a good year).

Purchases:

Well really I have not picked up many so far this month, Grand Theft Auto IV Tales of Liberty City on Xbox 360 and Warhawk on Playstation 3 are the ones that spring to mind. I have also ordered Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on XBox 360 online but am just awaitng a dispatch email (hopefully soon but for the price I paid I dont mind waiting a little for it). I am hoping to pick up Assassins Creed 2 next weekend or even pre-order it as I am very impressed with what I have seen so far. I have not decided which version to go for but I will make my mind up soon no doubt. After that its Dragon Age Origins and thats about it really that has me interested.

I am planning on just hammering these games when I get them and enjoying the ones I have rather than spending more on more games as I just don't see the point in buying loads more when I will have these to enjoy. Thats not to say its ending my game buying, far from it, just that I will wait then for Bioshock 2 and the other big games next year to start rolling in.

Some of you may or may not have noticed my lack of activity of late. I have mainly been hanging around Decision Based Gaming Union and the UK general discussion board. I am not really sure why it is but I am just floating around and reading more than posting at the moment. If things change then so be it, I wont be quitting here by any means but I am looking around and just posting when I want to really. No point in forcing myself to post when I don't want to really.

General stuff

Well its same old same old really, getting on with work which has been good as its busy which I like to be when working. Other interest wise I am just listening to music more and enjoying Friends which I recently got the box set on DVD (totally worth buying for Friends fans out there) and just generally looking at what I may get when I cut back on the game buying for a bit (maybe some new Blu Ray films and dvds/ music cds to pass the time when I am not in a gaming mood).

So yeah thats about it really. I appologise to the unions I am not active in, I will try and help out but I am not going to promiss anything as I dont want to disapoint by making promises I wont keep. Just keep an eye out for me and who knows what will happen.

Hey all

I was just in the mood for making a blog so here it is.

Recently I have been feeling blue about my lack of Playstation 3 useage, however I feel things will turn around for it.

For instance, I am now enjoying Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta, competative I still don't find hugely great, but the co-op is quite good. I can see myself using that to get higher level to unlock more perks to use that will lead to an improved competative online experience. That and the awesome single player on the first game has got my interest very much raised for the new game.

Also, some of you on the UK board will know I am interested in importing some Playstation 3 games. I have never done this before so am looking for any sites that are good with delivery times so any suggestions?

I am hoping to pick up:

BlazBlue - Sounds a promissing fighting game, something I am not hugely experienced of or into but this has something about it I want to try.

Demon Souls - A title I had no interest in until the hype started around it. It seems to be reviewing very well and I could see myself playing a nice RPG as I have completed Fallout 3 and Fable II so another game thats reasonable lengthed would be taken aboard well from myself.

Railfan - I love trains and video games. Being a bit of a nerd also got me into Train Simulator on PC so this game looks awesome for me to get into.

Other games I am interested in currently:

Forza Motorsport 3 - Looks very impresive from a quick look video on a rival web site. I am going to try the demo again (unless I deleted it which is a strong possibility)

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - Keeps sounding better and better, and after a friend showed me a funny video of players having a laugh on there it has inspired me further.

Outside of gaming, I have been mainly watching The Simpsons and Futurama after having got a couple of seasons of them.

Anyway, that is all.

Well after much dilly dallying over deciding whether or not to get Halo ODST I finally pre-ordered it over the weekend. I am hoping it turns up soon but I got a good deal for it so I don't mind a few days delivery really.

In other gaming decisions, I am looking forward to next month but sure howdy my wallet won't be

I am very interested in:

Uncharted 2 - I have seen some reasonable pre-order deals, one where you get to try the multiplayer beta from the day you order until about 4 days before the games actual release. I think I may pre-order this one soon so I can give the multiplayer a whirl.

Brutal Legend - I had very very little anticipation for this game originally. However, after watching a quick look video on another web site, I am very much interested in this game now. It looks great, has humour and the multiplayer seems to make this one worth getting sooner rather than later possibly.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 - Loved the demo, there were issues but as I rarely (if ever) complete seasons on Fifa but do on PES, I think this will be the game for me out of the two.

Borderlands - I am doubting this game. However, I am going to give it more time, the videos I have seen may be poorly done in terms of how it feels to play the game, much like the Fallout 3 trailers did for me (I was not looking forward to that until I saw a Brotherhood trailer where they were fighting outside of GNR, man that was epic and switched me on with that game).

Thats about it for main games, Football Manager I will likely pick up some time but I will wait till I get bored of the old season stats on FM 08 before buying this I think. Scribblenaughts is another game I have some degree of interest in but its a DS game and I really dont like paying top dollar for a handheld game to be honest.

I will let you ladies and gents know how ODST has turned out along with Beatles Rock Band later on no doubt. There will be more games to come probably but as it stands those are the ones I am interested in getting.

Anyway, let me hear what you are after (if anything) and any questions or what not let me know.

Adios amigos.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like Garfield360UK.
Garfield360UK must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could Garfield360UK possibly have for not rating a single film?
