So, I just got my bottom braces... and man they hurt! I am going through a lot of pain now 
I also got my spacers and it makes it 1 million times harder to eat! I keep biting my cheeks and it feels like my mouth has no room inside.
I know I complain a lot... but I just had to scream it out! IT HURTS!
btw, I didn't have to go to school today

I had braces. I had to have spacers in preparation for them. I know what you're going through. Don't worry, it gets easier to deal with the longer you have them, and they'll be off before you know it. The feeling of nice smooth teeth is awesome. Stay tough.

I'm getting my braces off after 6 more months. Braces hurt at first, but then it gradually stops hurting. Your first tightening might hurt though..
Don't worry about. And eating gets easier. Word of advice - stay off chewing gum.

I'm getting braces in a couple years. Hope you feel more comfortable.
