Watching this movie now gives the same effect it must have had in 1931. True, maybe the horror aspect of the film is very tame and not scary by today's standards, but the atmostphere is still as rich. From the beginning in the graveyard to the end of the film where the monster meets fate at the windmill, the look is just classic. I think one that thing that helps the film is how short it is. The plot is real fast and not as drawn out as Dracula. Man makes a monster, regrets it and tries to undo his mistake. That is basically the entire movie. With that said, the fast pace really makes the movie fly by and leaves me wanting more. It's the definition of classic to see Boris as the monster. Watch it! It's great :)

I never thought another movie could beat the original Lugosi film, but this movie comes very close. It takes the character of Dracula and makes him a horrible monster, but also sympathetic. You can't help but feel, and maybe understand, somewhat why Dracula does what he does. Gary Oldman is amazing in the title role and makes the character extremely believable. The special effects are incredible, and although it wasn't that long ago, the movie still holds up to this day. This will surely go down as a classic, and that is saying a lot for a remake. This movie brought a lot and delivers. I highly recommend this movie

Needless to say, this is a classic film in it't truest form. Bela Lugosi brought his own style to the character that has been copied ever since. He made vampires popular. Don't believe me? What do you think of when I say Dracula? Bela. The only downside to this film is the anti-climatic end of the movie. Dracula is killed too easy compared to the Dracula of recent movies, who seems almost impossible to kill.

How far have when come in society that it doesn't even phase me to see a kid getting his head run over by a car? That is only one of the many scenes that are very memorable from this movie. In the world of many superheroes, there is only one Toxic Avenger. If you love B-rated movies from the 80s, then this is for you. A classic for sure, but not everyone will find it appealing

It's a cute little film, but would actually be better suited for new fans to the franchise. The reason is that this movie is supposed to be about how Gene was inspired by things in his every day life and how it inspires him to start writing what would eventually become Star Trek. The problem, a lot of the things that he "imagines", he didn't actually create in reality. For example, it says that Gene invented the Vulcan hand greeting, when in fact it was Leonard Nimoy who really invented that for the show. True, this movie is all in fun, but nerdy Trekkies like me notice the historical mistakes. The movie is only 20 minutes long, so it is worth it if you can find it cheap.

Definitely better than the fourth film and also better than the third. It places up there with the two first film the story follows. Overall, a really cool movie and leaves me with great expectation for the next movie. Really well done.

I absolutely love this movie. The story of George Reeves is a very sad one, and even more hard for fans of "Adventures of Superman" to watch. Now, it is nothing for movie stars to become TV stars, but it was something to be ashamed of in Reeves' day. In a way, George Reeves was a pioneer. The movie is very interesting, thanks to a huge part Ben Affleck. Affleck really does an amazing job making Reeves a very human character and shows how different he was to his TV personna Superman. At the end of the film, I literally want to cry because of the final scenes of Reeves in his room. You feel sorry for the guy, even more so since this is based on the true story. Great acting and a very well written script

Really good writing and very nice acting, it all seems very real, especially since my brother is expecting a baby girl in a couple of months. I can't help but think about our family when I watch this movie. A really well done film by Kevin Smith that I think will be more accepted the more years go by

Clerks is definitely in my top 10 favorite films of all time, with the other films by Kevin Smith making my top 20 for sure. This is a movie that anyone can relate to and is for every generation. I am 24 years old, and I was actually 22 when I first watched the movie (the age of Randal and Dante), so the film still speaks to those in their 20s. The movie hasn't aged at all and I still enjoy it as much as I did when I first watched the film. Even though the movie may appear vulgar to some, it is still funny.

A really good starter film for what could be consider the greatest film franchise of all time. Compared to later Bond films, there is better than this, but not saying that is a bad film. Sean Connery does an excellent job at being the undeniably cool James Bond. There are also worse Bond films than this as well, so I'm kind of stuck in the middle. So, I give it a 3 1/2 star, not the best and not the worst in the series.
