Slow month is slow...

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon - Long ass title. It's a lot like the first game, but fixes everything its predecessor lacked. The combat and demon fusion systems have been largely improved and the new weapon alchemy system adds even more depth to an already deep game. The art direction is also incredible; DS2 mixes the looks of early 20th century Japan with a film noir detective mystery feel to create a unique atmosphere. Awesome game, and it even comes with a free Raiho plush. I LOVE YOU, ATLUS!

inFamous - You play as a dude who mysteriously obtains electricity-based powers. The platforming and combat are incredibly fun and refreshing, thanks to his abilities. There are a lot of sidequests to do, such as collectibles to hunt and territories to take over. Everything you do will give you a karma rating, which in turn will affect how the city looks and how people react to you. It's really fun. If you own a PS3, you owe it to yourself to at least try the demo.

By the way... E3 2009 starts tomorrow! Is anyone excited?

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon is a horrible title but it looks like my kind of game - I love the supernatural and I love mysteries.

No E3 excitement (as per my blog )... but those games look nifty. I've seen previews for inFamous. Your description sounds better. It looked like a skin from SW Force Unleashed.

Shin Megami Tensei's never really appealled to me.....but Devil Summoner is drawing me in!!!!

inFamous is awesome.
So did you purchase anything in April?

Both games I'd love to play, but no PS3 for infamous, and no time for Devil Summoner 2: King Abdomen and his army of expired ramen noodles.

Also about e3, wake me if there's anything about Sin & Punishment 2, if not just let me sleep.

inFamous sounds pretty awesome. Though I'm a little unsure about it. Mainly because when I've tried games that have the open world style of gameplay, I haven't liked them. I'm hoping that won't happen with inFamous, though, because it looks really fun. I'll definitely play it once I get a PlayStation 3.

Yeah, I know. I'm really looking forward to it, too. Mainly because I'm curious to see what everyone has in store for E3. If it's anything like previous years (and it most likely will), there should be plenty of surprise announcements there.

MJoanne: The first one's title was just as terrible.

JustPlainLucas: I didn't know you had a PS3!

mprezzy: Whaaat? What's NOT to like about E3?

Bigcol1611: Even the Persona series?

DrAwesomeMD: I bought a puppy, does that count?

grafkhun: Pshh... Pathetic excuse is pathetic. If you don't have time, MAKE some.

c_rake: Yeah... except for Nintendo. I bet their press conference will be as boring as ever.

Hope E3's Not as bad as last year... they really botched it.

VelociBlade: Last year wasn't bad... was it?

Umm, just wondering, does Puppy have a name yet?

inFamous is one of the reasons I'm finally deciding to save up for a PS3 - I loved the Sly Cooper games. No huge e3 excitement, I'm expecting it to be kind of a letdown.

You don't understand, I'm already juggling about 30 games right now. Adding in another super long JRPG, playing P4, FF12, and Tales of Vesperia now, is just going to make it more complicated.

A plush? :O That sounds so cool! I've wanted to try inFamous but for obvious reasons, I haven't picked it up yet. E3? What's this "E3" you speak of?
(xD)

tprezzy12: Not yet, but my sis wants to call him Poochy.

AlmightyMax: Really? I'm totally hyped.

grafkhun: And to think, you were whining about me playing too many games. Hypocrite.

twilightlullaby: Why, that's the sequel to E2 of course.

Poochy?!? That is NOT a proper name for a big dog And you can tell your sister someone else said so! Oh my...

I love inFamous. It's not the best looking game, but it's just fun! I maxed out that ability where you drop from a high place, and come smashing down with tons of energy! I had like...5 enemies in a area with a bunch of pedestrians around. I manage to get rid of the villains, but I killed/injured everyone else around me.

E3! Is now..at least on G4 at 1pm est. A preshow perhaps.

No, that doesn't.

I really want to play Infamous, but once again I lack a PS3.
Posted Jun 1, 2009 3:49 pm PT
Taking it out of context much are we? I just said that you buy so many games, never said anything about playing a lot of stuff simutaneously. In fact, I encourage people to play multiple games at once, keeps everything feeling fresh and it's fun to always have options. I like playing a ton of games at the same time.

I've heard Infamous is fab
