My wife had been feeling rather sick for the last several weeks. At least a low grade fever fluctuating to a high one at times for about 3 weeks. We do not have health ins. as we are low income and our employers do not offer it. Well I think my wife's employer does but doesn't offer it to her because she is listed as a temp/perm hire. Anyway.... Last wednesday night she had uncontrollable shakes so I called for the paramedics and they said it was probably due to the high fever. Just as the paramedics were about to leave she nearly passed out. They said they could take her to the hospital or I could take her and save the ambulance fee. So I took her to the er at about 10:30 ish then we waited. We finally got a er room about 12:30 ish then didn't get a doc to look at her until about 1:30 or so. Then about 5am the next morrning they admitted her for a severe kidney infection. They also thought there was a possibility for meningitis but my wife did not take the spinal tap. She finally came home yesterday at about 6 ish. She said that the doctors said that it was boarder line of being septic. 2 things could have happened if it was septic either they surgically remove the infected kidney or she would have died. So I am glad she is home and safe now. She is still dealing with a headache and not feeling 100% but she is on antibiotics and should be feeling better soon I hope.

As for me... While I was waiting with her in the er, I think exhaustion set in and being exhausted left me vulnerable to whatever was floating around the hospital. I ended up coming down with a pretty nasty flu. As I am typing this I am feeling better after 2 1/2 days being sick and sleeping through most of yesterday. Still have a headache and a sore throat and am still dosing myself with tylenol. But things are finaly starting to look up.

I have not tryed to play anything on-line yet and I may not, I am not sure yet. I don't get to play a lot anymore with life being as busy as it is, but I figured I would give you all my friend code anyway.

This is a couple days late for Christmas but... Merry Christmas to every one. Hope all went well and was fun for everyone.

As for me... I enjoyed myself on Christmas. I got to wake up later than a normal Christmas morning. I got a home made dream catcher, and from my parents an Ohio State hoodie. However I had bought a Wii system a couple of months ago, but I decided not to open it then but to give it to the family for Christmas. So we were finally able to open it and play it. I have not looked yet to see what my friend code is yet. But when I get it I will post it. The games I have for it are Wii sports (comes with), Wii Play (heard it wasn't that good...), Mario Galaxy, and Super Smash Brothers Brawl. We also got a points card and got Super Mario 3, and Mario Kart 64. I must say that I did expect the Wii to be fun, but I didn't expect it to be this much fun. I like it! ............. Anyways... After enjoying the Wii for a little bit we packed everyone up and went to my parents for dinner and gifts. On my way out to our van I found a very slick patch of ice and landed on my pelvis and elbow. I can still feel some of the pain in some angles that I didn't know I was bending myslef into. I am sure I bruised those muscles but the bruises have not gotten to the surface yet... But the time at my parents was a very nice time.
