You know Malcolm X never gets as much recogniziton as other African American leaders, but this movie sure depicted his life perfectly. The ideals throwned out by this movie are enough to catch your attention and never let go. Denzel delivers a powerfull performance as Malcolm. I totally recommend this movie to anyone that its interested in the Civil Rights movement.

There are few spoof and parody movies that make you laugh as hard as this one did. This movie does not make you regret watching it, in fact, it makes you want to watch it over and over again. An instant classic comedy!

"Remember remember the fith of November..."
This movie is simply one of the best "hey this could happen in the future of our societies" movies I have ever seen. Natalie Portman plays Evey, a young citizen of Totalitarian Britain trying to live her life. When one day she stumbles upon "V," a misterious character who has but one idea, to bring justice and freedom back to society.

What else can I say about this movie. The plot, actors, scenes where simply spectacular. But most important, the message that it delivers must definetly not be forgotten.

ON a normal day, Bei follows his insticst to follow two men down a dark alley. He soons find out that these men want to rob a jewerly store. After foiling their plans, Bei meets an investigator who convinces Bei that Bei is the long lost son of a rich Korean businessmen. In the blink of an eye, Bei sets out to find adventure and fortune. Deep into his quest, he realizes that he holds the key to the location of a lung cancer virus. Thus the smart game of cat and mouse begins.

Another fun Jackie CHan movie that combines martial arts with comedy. Enjoyable for everyone.

What are they? Where they friend or foe? Well you'll have to watch the movie, but a must see. The story is very good, plus it has a very creative script. Its a, imagine what can happen, situation. A must see for all UFO's and extaterestial lovers.

The sequel to Rush Hour, this time, Lee (Jackie Chan) and Carter (Chris Tucker) travel to Hong Kong for "vacations." Carter just wants to explore the city and relax, maybe get to know some girls, but when a bomb explosed in the American Embassy, Lee investigates secretly, sometimes getting Carter into some trouble. The dynamic duo eventually investigate the crime. On the way, they meet and sexy agent Isabella (Roselyn Sanchez) and team up with her to solve the crime. The trail leads back to Los Angeles, where our heros go for the final showdown. The movie has more of the crazy funny stunts by Jackie Chan and the same action packed ride. Jackie Chan plays detective Lee who is hired by the Chinesse counselor to help in the investigation of the counselor's kindapped daughter. But the FBI have other plans, so they ask a C average LAPD officer, Carter(Played by Christ Tucker), to make sure that Mr. Lee does not involve himself in the investigation.

But low and behold, Lee and Carter get involved, and them some! The movie is full of action packed scenes and humoristic fight sequences that you can only see in a Jackie Chan movie. Chris delivers an astonishing performance as a cop, making us laugh until we have the need to go to the bathroom.

Overall, the movie is very enjoyable, and you will want to see it over and over again.

The last instalment of the trilogy. Neo sets out to machine city to fight Agent Smith, and perhaps find a way to end the war between humans and machines. On the meantime, the attack by the sentinels on the city of Zion rages on. The movie has more of the action packed stunts and visual effects we all like. This is what made the Matrix good, and revolutionaized the industry. The story lacks a bit once again, but you'll be busy busting your head over the Philosophy question raised.

Overall, it is a fine addition to the trilogy and it will catch you and never let go.

This is the second movie of the Matrix series. On this one, Neo (Keanu Reeves) is hunted by nightmares of Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) dying while on one of their missions. On the mean time, the last human city of Zion faces a terrible challange. Thousands of robot sentinels are digging towards the city to destroy the last human resistance.

Neo is given a mission to find the keymaster, the one who holds the answer to every question, but he must also make sure that his nightmare do not become a reality.

The movie has more of the same stunts and visual effects of the first. It's enjoyable, but it feels like the writters are kinda pushing it with the lacking story. But anyway, this is a fun movie that everyone can get a kick off.

Mel, please read a dictionary and learn what the word "accurate" means. First ten minutes into the film and I'm already disgusted at the "barbaric," "savage" views the Mayans are depicted as. The movie is nothing but violence from beggining to end. It makes it hard to determine who the main characters are and what story are we suppose to be following.
Let's get a few things straight and clear them up. The Mayans where a very smart civilization and very advanced for it's time. Their matemathics was so accurate that they were only a few seconds from telling time correctly. Knowing how smart they where, I would imagine that a group of Mayans that have lived for generations, in the forest depicted on the movie, would be aware of the huge city being build a days and a half walk away from their village.
This movie could have been great. Heck, just showing the major technological advances that the Mayans came up would have been great. Also, showing us how magnificent their cities where would have worked too, but no, instead we get a disgusting stereotype of the Mayans
Now, I'm not saying the whole movie is a waste of time, at least you get a glipse at some Mayan artwork and a beautiful forest. Also, using real life Mayan decendants who speak the Mayan language is also awesome.
The problem was the inaccuracy. Mel, the Mayans disappeared before they ever made contact with the Spanish, infact, the Spanish never made contact with the Mayans. Why? The Mayan empire had already disappeared by that time. But I love how the christians came to save the day in the end, Mel, very nice :|

Fico is faced with the difficult task of keeping his family together while the revolution rages on. The movie portraits what happen to most families when the revolution came and went. It takes a neutral stand, neither pro or con of the revolution. It is also a tribute to the beutiful Cuban music that was lost after the revolution. A beautiful dramatic movie that I would recommend to anyone that its interested on the events that took place during the revolution.

Once every year, an animated movie comes out that makes you laugh, cry, and most important, it makes you have a craving for pie. In 2001, Shrek was that movie. Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers) is an Ogre that prefers to live in his bubble, away from contact from the outside world, but the world has other plans.
One day, Shrek finds his swamp filled with other fairytale creatues who where exiled there to live by the evil Lord Farquaad. So Shrek goes on a quest with an annoying talking Donkey (Eddy Murhpy) to get the peace and quiet of his swamp back. Lord Farquaad makes a deal with Shrek.
