I am absolutely tired of all of the election advertising, commercials, phone calls, etc. this year. I'm going to vote tomorrow, but why do we have to get hounded like that? There should be a limit to how much advertising that a candidate, campaign or party can do.....I mean one of these days in the future, candidates will have spent billions of dollars on their campaigns. Wouldn't that be better spent somewhere else?

I'll be glad when it's over too. I live in Canada and it's all over the news here too
We do have rules up here on how much is allowed to be spent on campaigns. I totally agree though: there are way better things to spend money on!

Yep, I'll be voting for McCain myself.....more so to keep things honest and not have one party, the Democratic party, to dominate both houses of Congress (in big majorities) and the Presidency. Sure, I've bought into the whole checks and balances thing, and you know, it definitely makes sense that the best overall and palatable to most of the country legislation comes from a divided government who has to compromise with each other to get things done.

Thank god I'm not there. I can't even imagine what's happening there right now. I live in Macedonia and every day on the news I hear: Obama, McCain...
