Finally!! A night where I am free of homework and can spend my afternoon relaxing!! It's been a hectic couple of weeks, what with school starting again and all. I've had so much homework for the last few days that I can hardly sleep, let alone get on my favorite site. But at last, a chance to take a break and spend some time with the more important things...no not friends and family, silly, but the TV and computer! Lol

And as far as the TV is concerned, I better start enjoying what little time I can get with it. I have a feeling that my homework load is only going to increase as the school year goes on, and all of my favorite shows are starting their new seasons next week. What if I have to spend my nights working on algebra or chemistry and have to miss them? I know you're thinking I could tape them, but then I never have time to watch the tapes, so it's as good as missing them all together. Not to mention all of the best ones are on at 10 and end at 11, and I really would like to start going to bed at 10 instead. Bleh, this really sucks!!

But enough ranting. I guess I could always watch the shows on my new video iPod when I'm riding in the car or during class (hehe). I swear it's the greatest invention ever! Like, better than fire or the wheel!! Ok well maybe not that great, but it is pretty cool. I've recently started watching old shows that I'd forgotten but now remember that I love. Like The Munsters, for instance. I used to watch that show all of the time when I was little, and now I can watch whatever episodes I like. It's pretty corny, but I still love it. I consider it sort of my secret show, something that no one else knows I watch. Do you have a show like that? One that you really love, but you keep it to yourself because you know your friends would go huh? Just wondering if it's a common thing, or just a "Lindsay-ism," so to speak.

Ta-ta for now!

Hmm, maybe Star Trek or...wait, I know: Shasta McNasty! Never heard of it? You're not alone. It only lasted 1 season and it aired on UPN. It was about 3 slacker white guys who decided to form a rap/hip-hop band. The humor was decidedly stupid and juvenile with many scenes set in the bar where they hung out.

After the early ratings were bad, they brought in Verne Troyer ("Mini Me") as an additional cast member. One episode involved the guys' scheme to make money at the bar by staging midget boxing grudge matches. Crude, yes, but funny. I don't know why I liked the show since I don't like hip-hop music and I don't really watch Animal House/American Pie-type movies that often. I think it qualifies as a secret show, don't you think?

I also having a tough time getting to watch the shows I want to watch, luckily some of them come on reruns over and over again like Project Runway.

I want a video iPod really badly at least one with 30 gigs. But I'll probably get one within a year, I just feel bad for the people when their battery dies, they have to send it to Apple and then they have to pay and do all that crap.

Wow, do video ipods actually work? I would have figured they'd be breaking down all the time/bad quality/low storage capacity/any other possible negative thing. Hmmm, as for embarrassing programs I watch and hide, I'm sure I have plenty . Of course, I won't tell you

123: Lol believe it or not, I have heard of Shasta McNasty. I watched it a couple of times and actually thought it was funny (especially after they brought in Mini Me). That definitely counts as a secret show! sazzle: That happened to my iPod! Before I had the video one, I had the earliest model (no color, 15 gigs). The battery died, and we didn't have insurance. So in order to fix it, it was about $300! We just decided to buy a newer, better one, since it was the same price. The lesson I learned: always get insurance!!

Shana: They work great! I'm sure the quality decreases as you put more shows on it, but I have about 10 on mine so far and have had no problems. And come on, won't you share just one secret program? Pretty please ??

You have 10 on? Wow, that's impressive. I thought they normally managed about 2! Is i-tunes allowing you to download programs these days then? I think most of my embarrassing watches will be British anyway, so you probably won't know them

Yep, you can download just about any show on iTunes now for about $1.99 an episode. At that price, I don't buy too many, but only the ones that I really like. And fine, don't tell me. Be that way. I regret ever telling you my secret show.
