Gotta agree with you and admit that at the end of the day, if this site weren't here I wouldn't have met so many interesting people.

It's also cool that when TV.com does go wrong you can moan about it with people who know what you're talking about. It's not the same when you're out in town with your friends and you say "That flaming TV.com crashed again!"... you tend to get some funny looks.

I agree with you about the people, FuManchu. Whether a site sucks or not, the people are what truly make it interesting. I met several people at TV Tome that I enjoyed talking to, and some new people here who've also turned into good friends.

I'm glad you still visit this site. Your blogs are some of the ones I enjoy reading.

Sorry about all of the statistical updates. Someone else suggested it once and I kind of continued as a personal joke and method for keeping track of how I progressed, i.e. how many submissions approved are getting me how much of a level boost, etc.

Yes, glad to see you here too Shadow. I agree with the high praise of your Mod-ship. I know how hard it must have been too. Even with having to taking care of the many spammers, you still were a great source of help and encouragement there. Man, I miss the Editor’s Forum at TV Tome.

MacDeacon, my comment wasn’t directed at you specifically, as several people I track are doing it. It’s just makes harder to know if there’s actually something to read there.

Good to see you again, Steve. You are and always will be a great friend. You were a great help to me during the hackings of System over the winter (of 2004) and helped me rebuild Debate Kingdom more than once. For that I thank you. Even though we have somewhat grown apart I still know that you will always be there for me and I will try my hardest to be there for you.

Shadow- I would like to publicly state that you were a decent mod and that I apologize for all our fights over at tvtome. You did your best. You and Allen were both great and while I'm saddened that you didn't stand with me to rid the lounge of the n00bs, that was your decision to make and I shouldn't have gotten in your face about it.

You are not a traitor to the Majakians no matter what some people say.

I also agree that while this site is a horrible imitation of tvtome, some of the people that have remained are great. Shadow, Steve (as already mentioned), Gislef (a very good mod and an all around good editor and person), MacDeacon (good friend and spectacular editor), and Grailwolf (at odds with me politically but still a kind hearted guy) are just a few names of many that deserve recognition.

I will continue to hold a very minimal role at this place but you can expect me to stop by every once in a while to see the people I do care about.

Sorry for rambling on, but I just wanted to say these things.

I decided to click on your name after reading a post you made...I agree this place isn't what tvtome used to be, but we just have to deal with what we have. Also it's hard to express distaste here. I used to use tvtome a lot, usually to check when my shows were airing. I just about decided to leave here, but then looked at an icon of a friend here and couldn't leave. I have the same problem with my crappy job - I can't quit, I like the people too much.
