TV:

• 30 Rock: Very, very meta.
• The Office: this week's episode was forgettable but I haven't commented on last week's awesome ending. That was... Memmy-worthy . The homage to the JK Wedding Dance was c.lassic Office and super cute! Dwight kicked a girl in the face (... yes I'm 12), Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration spanked Phyllis, Andy danced on his crutches with Erin and Jam finally got hitched in private on the Maid of the Mist (callback to Booze Cruise).
• FlashForward: seriously needs to lighten up! Sure, the situation is scary but c'mon the Losties were stranded on the most overpopulated uninhabited island ever with smoke monsters, polar bears and the French and they built a golf course. And a runway (... for the aliens ).
• The Good Wife: I enjoyed it. Nothing ground-breaking but the interactions within the family were great. How would you protect your teenage children from media bombardment? You couldn't.
• Glee: There should be a rule that every TV villain has to keep a personal journal. And be played by Jane Lynch. The "Ride Wit Me" jam session was adorable! More group songs please. I hope Will has learned the lesson that he shouldn't put Rachel and Finn front and centre every time. It irks me a little that Finn gets all the solos, since he's the weakest male singer. Artie and even Puck are better. Btw has anyone seen the Canadian promos for next week? Two hot Jews are going to get some action!

Movies: Can't add them. TV.com is weird. Ugh.

25. Angel / Angelus

Backstory: Liam is the Irish form of William... Angel and Spike have the same first name. Weird. As for the rest, I'm not summarizing 200+ years cause man, that vampire got around (not like that).

Why:

Angel: The way I always felt about Angel on Buffy was the exact same way I felt about Riley. Don't love 'em, don't hate 'em, just don't care. No, it wasn't until he was spun off to L.A. that he grew on me. Big time. Door-smashing, brooding, melodramatic with a big heart, even if it didn't beat. Yup, that was our Angel.

Angelus: the most terrifying and amazing part of Angelus is how much he differs from Angel. Where Angel was reserved and broody, Angelus was aggressive and outspoken. Where Angel was caring and compassionate, Angelus was cruel and merciless. Where Angel sought redemption, Angelus sought only to remorselessly continue on his path of destruction. This made him an intriguing villain and character.

Best episode:

Angel: It's always difficult to pick a favorite episode for a lead title character. Uhm... Smile Time. Puppet cancer.

Angelus: Passion (unlike Angel, I prefer Angelus on Buffy S2. He was darker and edgier there. It could of been the eyeliner. We all know I have a thing for that.)

Angel: I want you, Lindsey!... I'm thinking about rephrasing that.

Angelus: Spike, my boy, you really don't get it! Do you? You tried to kill her, but you couldn't. Look at you. You're a wreck! She's stronger than any Slayer you've ever faced. Force won't get it done. You gotta work from the inside. To kill this girl... you have to love her.
