Guess who's birthday it is (y'know besides a lot of the tv.com-members)
TOM WELLING!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM!!
Suddenly I have the uncontrollable need to give my opinion about the shows that aired this week.. If you don't wanna hear it feel free to scroll.
Bones was a lot better then last week, we finally got to see Player Under Pressure. It was kind of weird being in season 2 again but I think Fox made the right call by not airing it the first time because it would of upset a lot of peole at the time. We sort of get pulled into a world that Brennan doesn't understand and she says things that upset Booth because he considers himself part of that world. The crime was also better than last week, I didn't really shock (but to be honest, the only crimeshow that ever shocks me is SVU). Angela was hilarious when she was watching the sextape of her and Hodgins.. Typical Angela
. The only thing that really bothered me is that Zack didn't really have anything to do as usual. He went to Iraq to fight in a war and they only talked about it for one episode, they could do so much more with his character.
Best quote:
Angela: (watching the sex-tape)Y'know, this is pretty good. I mean, usually with these things you think: "God, more yoga less carb" y'know but, this ain't bad.
After the amazing episode that aired last week, this weeks Smallvillewas a little boring. I can't believe Jimmy was so stupid that for one second he believed that Chloe was working with terrorists. Even after he found out that she hacked into the American government computersystem it was still dumb of him to think that... Come on it's Chloe we're talking about. Also was this suppose to be a James Bond themed episode? Smallville can't pull that off. They tried a Buffy episode (Thirst).. they did a Noir episode that sucked. Smallville should just stick with the storyline. But I just saw next week's preview and it looks really good.
Best quote:
Chloe: (to Clark) You do realize that your greatest superpower is your ability to win me over with just one look, no matter how ridiculous you sound, right?
One Tree hillwas much better then last weeks boring episode.. Except for Quentin and Millicent who are just not interesting (I hope they get cut). Lucas of course had to rub it in Peyton's face that he loved Lindsay.. Nice. Now the good stuff. I liked the voiceovers and what everyone thought about when they wake up.. I love that they finally brought back Deb (not that I'm a fan of her but I just hated it how they acted that she didn't excist) I wonder how she's gonna react to Dan. She hates him more then anyone. Brooke getting a baby was a beautiful scene, I wonder if she can handle it.
Best quote:
Lucas: Lindsey. She's the first thing I think about every day. "How is she? Does she miss me like I miss her? How do I get her back?" And then another day without her begins.
Peyton: Lucas.
Jamie: Chester.
Brooke: Brooke. Oh my God, I've to pee.
Skills: What day is it? What time is it? What the hell did I drink last night?
Marvin: Mmm, Millicent...You smell so good. I have to go to work. Sure, I guess I can be a little late. "What do you mean I'm fired? I wasn't even that late!" How am I gonna pay my rent? "Would you like fries with that, sir?"
Haley: Jamie
Nathan: Jamie. God, my girl is hot.
Haley: Morning.
Nathan: Morning.
(When they are about to kiss, Jaime's foot pops up)
Nathan: You know, I'm hungry this morning.
Haley: I am starving.
(Shot fired)
Dan: Keith...
Scrubs had a great episode this week. Dr. Cox can't diagnose a patient so JD and Turk help him.. Carla and Elliot try to save Kelso's job and in the end they succeed. I don't really have much to say about this episode other then the ending was beautiful.
Best quote:
Kelso: Girls thank you for saving my job. The one thing I wanted was to end things on my own terms and since you letting me, you can shove it up your ass Rodney. I'm outta here.
The Office was funny with Micheal, Dwight and Ryan clubbing in New York and we find out that Ryan had a drugproblem (did he have a drugproblem? My family was watching a soccermatch on tv and they we're all kind of yelling at the tv so it was hard to follow for me) The rest of the Office gets locked because of Jim's brilliant idea. The part when Toby touches Pam's leg a little too long, announces that he's going to Costa Rica and clims over the fence was... unexpected.
Best quote:
Pam: There is a master key and a spare key for the office. Dwight has them both. When I asked, "What if you die, Dwight? How will we get into the office?" He said, "If I'm dead, you guys have been dead for weeks."
Here's part of my countdown (finally).. since it has been a while here are Part 1 and Part 2
10. Elliot Reid
"Elliot Reid... MOMENT KILLER!!"

Show: Scrubs
Portrayed by: Sarah Chalke
Why: She's a weird hyper-competitive Republican from Connecticut who has the tendency to tell random stories about her childhood. I think that Elliot is at her best when she's being crazy or when she screams with a very high voice. As for her romance with JD, some people want them together, some people absolutely not. I'm fine with it either way, I'm gonna leave it to the writers.
Best episode: My Last Chance
Song: "American Girl" - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Memorable Quote:
Elliot: You're gonna give the patient the screening, and I'll tell you why. Remember that patient of mine you screwed up? Well, I'm going to tell him it was your fault and then I'm going to spend every waking second helping him figure out how to emotionally and financially b*tchslap you even if the end result is that we both get our asses fired. Your move, Chuckles.
9. Rory Gilmore
"She could get anywhere by herself! She could get to the third dimension by herself! She was helping the crossing guard when she was four."

Show: Gilmore Girls
Portrayed by: Alexis Bledel
Why:I preferred her in the early years of Gilmore Girls when her nr 1 goal was to get into Harvard and her favorite thing to do was to study.. She changed but I guess that is normal. Nonetheless she's still one of my favorite Gilmore Girls characters. She loves to read, she loves to go to school and really likes to please other people. But not in an annoying way but in a sweet adorable way.
Best episode: Rory's Dance
Song: "Who I Am" - Jessica Andrews
Memorable Quote:
Louise: Have you ever seen an overweight stripper?
Rory: The word no seems so wildly inadequate all of a sudden.
8. Phoebe Buffay
"I may play the fool at times, but I'm a little more than a pretty blond girl with an ass that won't quit."

Show: Friends
Portrayed by: Lisa Kudrow
Why:The one and only Pheebs with crazy songs and mysterious past. (here's her timeline). In the first couple of episodes of season 1 I didn't really like her all that much but after a while she just got funnier and funnier. She's also a big influence on her friends. She forced Chandler & Monica to come out of the non-gay closet, she always tried to get Ross & Rachel back together because in her opinion they were "lobsters". But I still feel like sometimes the creators put her in the background too much and if you ask me they should of spend a little less time on R&R and a more time on Phoebe.
Best episode: The One Hundredth
Song:"Smelly Cat" - Phoebe Buffay
Memorable Quote:
Now, Grandma's a person who everyone likes,
She bought you a train and a bright, shiny bike.
But lately she hasn't been coming to dinner,
And last time you saw her she looked so much thinner.
Now, your mom and your dad said she moved to Peru,
But the truth is she died and some day you will too.

7. Olivia Benson
"I'd like your balls in a blender, but ain't life a b*tch"

Show: Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
Portrayed by: Mariska Hargitay
Why:A detective with the Special Victims Unit who's empathy for the victims has roots from her personal life. She's the child of her mother's rape. She grew up with an alcoholic mother and an absent father and I think for someone who had a pretty screwed up youth she turned out great. As no other she is able to get victims (and especially childeren) to trust her and to give her information. I have a lot of respect for this character because I've heard that real victims of rape found the courage to come forward because of her.
Best episode: 911
Song: "Beautiful Disaster" - Jon McLaughlin
Memorable Quote:
Olivia: What's your name?
Suspect: Screw you!
Olivia: Screw You, you're under arrest for attempted rape until we nail you for the other eleven.
6. Temperance ''Bones'' Brennan
"I don't know what that means"
Show: Bones
Portrayed by: Emily Deschanel
Why:Probably the smartest woman in this countdown yet her tagline is "I don't know what that means". She's a brilliant forensic anthropologist but has little knowledge of pop-culture. She didn't have it easy growing up. Her parents disappeared when she was 15 so she was put in the foster care system for a while. Because of this she has a soft spot for fosterkids. Brennan always has funny remarks and she's also part of my favorite soon-to-be-couple.
Best episode: Two Bodies In The Lab
Song:"Fighter" - Christina Aguilera
Memorable Quote:
Brennan: Marriage is having someone who'll slap your enemies and then toss their dead bodies out of airplanes.
I"ll post the next part as soon as possible (having trouble choosing between my 1 and 2)
Have a nice day... ![]()
Comments
I don't watch SVU and Bones that much anymore but when I do, I like Olivia and Bones. Have a great day!
Real women and not just eye candy (mmm... eye candy).
If I were a woman, I'd feel empowered. (So I guess that means this makes me feel weak???).
Anyway, good list.
jon
I am not gonna comment on shows as I haven't seen them this week.
Happy Birthday to Tom, I love that picture of him
I'm looking forward to the 150th episode. Tom Welling is directing it!
this weeks episode was 1000 percent better!!! i totally love the promo for next week with deb.. hahah i cracked up laughing.
i liked that scene 2 with what they all thought of when they wake up, so cute!
and yeah i think brook can handle it.!!!!
And yes Ryan apparently has a drug problem, which is wow and for some reason I find it hilarious though I have no idea why. It should be sad right? Toby's weird little moment is funny though, not the touching Pam part but the jumping the fence part and Jim's expression afterwards. Priceless.
Early Rory is great, I really liked her in some ways but then somewhere in sour four she just started becoming a different person and by season 6 I gotta say I was so displeased with her she became. She so wasn't little Rory Gilmore anymore.
I love that song of Phoebe's that you quoted! Hilarious.
