The next step in my little thingy here is to leave a comment about shows you think shouldn't be cancelled.

Shows that are legal to be included are shows that aired this season. New, old, whatever. If it has aired or is going to air in this television season then it can be included. For instance: Moonlight is not eligible, but Lost is. Does that make sense?

It also doesn't matter if it was included on the list of shows to be cancelled.

So, tell me what shows should be cancelled and give an explanation.

Continuing the tradition, I'll add shows as comments come in.

This will be up until Tuesday.

See you next week for part 3.

'Pushing Daisies' should definitely stay. It's being yanked from the schedule before its time. Why can't execs allow a show to find its audience before killing it? Didn't they learn anything from 'Arrested Development' and 'Family Guy'?

I wouldn't mind seeing 'Shark' again. I know it may be outside your parameters for this topic, but I'm a notorious parameter flouter.

I'd be a happier person if 'Boston Legal' had a few more seasons, but it's better that the show bowed out gracefully while it was still great (a la 'Family Ties' and 'Seinfeld') rather than outstaying its welcome ('ER' anyone?)

I'm actually shocked that I'm going to say but Law & Order. The original. It's not about characters, but stories and plot. It's been created to follow a specific pattern. I don't watch the show. I could care less. I just know it's been around a while...and it doesn't make people mad.

I missed the last one, but I would have agreed with every show that Hoeech had on his list. I don't like any of them.
But for this list I would have to say Battlestar Galactica. I wish it was sticking around longer. Had you not put that little stipulation in the blog I would have also said that very show you mentioned is not eligible. Just thought I'd add that.

I know Boromirbeauty, Moonlight is the epitome of shos that should not have been cancelled, but it's too late to save it. My second choice for non-cancellation is NCIS. We'll see how it goes with the proposed Spin-off, but I think eventually phasing out some of the team and adding new members...I think even Gibbs is not irreplace-able as long as the writing and tone of the show continues to remain constant. A lot of people overlook the cinematography on the show, it's just so different and special. Good Stuff.

I'll chip in this time with 24. There are so few actual action adventure shows on television. Crime procedurals don't count. They tell a full story over 24 episode. It may not be the most plausible but generally it holds together very well and is mostly well acted with good characters and substories.

Oh my lord, I love SweetPea! I love so many of those shows, some of which are on the verge of cancellation, I'm not sure what made me forget them. However, I wanted to go with my big one which was BSG, but I do agree with at least 8 on your list.

These shows should absolutely not be cancelled: Pushing Daisies, The Mole, Chuck, Survivor, The Amazing Race, Life on Mars, 24, Scrubs, CSI, CSI: Miami, and The Office.

The Mole and Pushing Daisies are the ones I am already missing. Bring them back!

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles dodged the bullet already, thank goodness, but BSG's end has already been announced which really sucks. I was really enjoying My Own Worst Enemy when I found out it had been cancelled, and I really wish it hadn't. Other than that, I'm not sure I've been watching anything that's in danger of being cancelled this season.
