Hey everyone. Hope you've all had a good E3. I have.

Now how about that Nintendo Press Conference? My initial impressions were poor due to the reappearance of Nintendo's Cammy Dunaway and her smiles, but all doubt was swept away when New Super Mario Bros. Wii was announced. A brand new Mario platformer? YES! ...with four-player co-op? HECK YES!!! Very cool, Nintendo. I can't wait to play through the game with some of my buddies. Hopefully they'll announce Gamecube/Classic Controller support. They also announced a new Golden Sun for DS. Looks good so far, but the trailer doesn't show any battles. Still, I've wanted to jump into Golden Sun for a long time now. Maybe this will be a good jumping point.

Alright, now let's talk about the big announcements. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is totally coming, and the trailer showed more of the same Galaxy style platforming but with new concepts. Looking forward to playing some more Galaxy. There was so much potential for more in the original. Hopefully some of the potential will be realised when the game ships in 2010. Metroid: OTHER M was announced. It's a Metroid game developed with Team Ninja at the reigns. Interesting, very interesting. Hopefully Samus won't be playing beach volleyball on Zebes. YOU HEAR ME TECMO?! DON'T RUIN THIS FRANCHISE!

Also of note was the WII VITALITY SENSOR. Dude, I'd be scared to let this thing take my pulse. They might send it to the government or something...

Both Mario games looks awesome, as does the new Metroid. But I was really not impressed with much of anything else. Most of the other really cool games that were shown... I already knew about. And there was Cammy Dunaway, too. Meh. ...And... Wii Vitality Sensor...

2010 is going to be a grea year and I doubt Nintendo would let Tecmo put Samus on a volleyball match.

SMG2 and Metroid made the show. They will be fantastic games, I can't wait to play both of them next year. Vitality Sensor was, hm, what word to use? Pointless? Weird? Unnecessary? WHY? NSMB Wii looks cool, but it looks like the DS game rehashed with 4 players and some new abilities. Graphics don't look to have much noticeable improvement either, which is really pathetic. Either way it'll be fun, but that game didn't heavily impress me for some reason. Mario & Luigi 3 looks awesome, very innovative and it'll be a blast like the other two M&L RPGs.

If Samus' suit gradually disappears when she takes damage I'm going to be very suspicious.

Yeah the new Metriod game looks very promising.

Don't worry about Samus. That guy from Team Ninja, the one with the obsession with tight suits on women (Itagaki, I believe his name was), was fired.

I was a little disappointed with all the casual stuff Nintendo threw at us (I have similar fears about that vitality sensor thing), but the new Mario games, Golden Sun DS, and Other M more than made up for it.

I honestly didn't care for Nintendo's conference this year, although it was better than last years
