Well so far I've only watched a few things about a couple of games that was shown at E3. I've been to busy with exams. (Had English exam today, think I went okay. Philosophy, physics and maths left.) Anyway i'll get around to watching all of the conferences from E3. From what i've seen though, i'm pretty happy.

Modern Warfare 2. Well it looks absolutely great so far. I was a big fan of the original modern warfare and mw2 looks amazing. I can't wait until its out.It is a game i will definitely buy. And a snow mobile chase...that was epic. I wanna do that. It looked intense.

Assassins Creed 2. I found Assassins Creed an awesome game...I especially loved the story in it. The only downside to it was how repetitive it got. It looks like they've fixed that problem in AC2 though. Starting off not being an assassin and then getting better and better...it looks just amazing. That is a must-buy game for me. I'll also be really interested in what they do with the story of the game and how much you'll get to play as Desmond. And Leonardo Da Vinci...using his inventions would be great. And a double hidden blade looks like it could be fun.

And finally Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction. I have been waiting for this game since it was originally announced,,,its been a horrible few years having to wait that long. But finally there's information about it. It seems really different from the other Splinter Cell games but a good different. Instead of sneaking around slowly and cautiously, you move quick, fast and are very lethal. Some of the new features look great...especially the marking ability. Sure, marking soldiers is fun. But marking other objects in the environment...thats looks awesome. Shooting out the lights, shooting out chandeliers...I am really looking forward to the release of this. Easily another must-buy game.

So thats all i've watched so far. I'll probably say more about things once i've watched all the conferences but those three games were what I was really looking forward to.

In non-gaming related news. School. Exams. As I said before, one down, three to go. One tomorrow. Two friday. Entire second week off. That week will probably involve some gaming, reading, hopefully some writing (kinda had a writers block) or hanging out with friends. Well I'm not sure if i mentioned in my last blog or not, but I read the Celestine Prophecy. It was great. My mum also went out and bought the other two books in the series...i'm up to the last one. I like the books. They're different from most things I read. And now some music-related news. Eskimo Joe's new album Inshalla came out earlier this week. I got it. I love it.

Yeah well there's not too much else...i've nearly been here at GS for a year. Will do a blog on the one year anniversary if I have time and don't forget.

So what did everyone else think about E3? Did you see what you wanted to?

Thanks for reading and i'll cya 'round

The new Splinter Cell looks amazing I can't wait, I've been a big fan of the series ever since it came out. And this one looks like it will be the best one imo, so hopefully it will be.

I read the first book in the Celestine Prophecy series. I liked it. I have the other two, but just haven't gotten around to reading them...too much other stuff going on. And I too have writers' block....working on a poem about my wife. It's a Shakespearean Sonnet, about half-way through, but got stumped.

As for E3, I caught some of it. I found a lot of it to be drawn out and boring. Some good games and stuff coming up, though.

Peace.

@cid_007: The other books in the Celestine Propehcy series are good...but I prefer the first one. And you write poems? Cool. I've never been good at poetry...only stories. And yeah i found most of E3 boring except for a few games.
