I just got back from a funeral. One of my uncles died. He was one of the few members in my family that I actually cared about. It was really sad seeing him go, but yet I still couldn't cry. I feel I am emotionless sometimes...meh. May he reast in peace.

showdown: My uncle was like a father. He was the only uncle besides one uncle on my mom's side of the family that I actualy liked. I hate my family...

Really, there's no reason to cry. I can't quite remember the last time I did. I'm sorry to hear about your uncle, but it happens. Crying doesn't solve anything, or help ease the pain.

Look...the reason why you are not crying is because although you've seen it with your very eyes..you do not fully accept and believe that he is gone yet...you obvious cared for him alot..and there's no shame in crying..for reals...you don't feel anything because you don't know what to feel...don't worry...it's normal...when the time is right you'll find yourself shedding tears...and some people don't cry at all...*looks at devil and anime* *whispers* BUT THAT CAN LEAD TO PROBLEMS SOMETIMES...like hoarding, working alot, finding other ways not to think about it until it is supressed deep enough that you don't feel for it at all. DEVIL was right and wrong...crying doesn't help him come back to life..no..it doesn't really do much of anything EXCEPT...let you move on...once you've cried..the death becomes real...you acknowledge it...so you can NOT FORGET HIM...but HONOR HOW YOUR UNCLE LIVED while continuing your life..knowing that he's in a better place...MAY HE REST IN PEACE AND GOOD LUCK

I'm sorry that he died. I feel your pain.
Sometimes it just comes as a shock or you aren't the type of person who cries, or something like that, you just don't cry.

Oh...
It was kind of that way with me with my great-grandpa's death earlier this year. It's like I cared of course, and it was horrible. But I never cried about it, until after the service and we walked up to see him... then I just bawled.
But I understand.
And don't feel too bad about it, okay? There are more ways to show your emotion then crying.
