Well i'm about half way into Mercs 2. At about 26 hours of playing it i'm not even close to bored. The game can be a bit repetitive but what you repeat is blowing stuff up, being a one man army and pretty much destroy Venezuela. I havent found any serious bug. Fiona keeps repeating the history of the various sectors of Venezuela everytime you go there and that's pretty annoying but other than that, no big complaints. I also have trouble joining ppl online which is pretty annoying too but i only tried one night so maybe the servers were having problems, i dunno.

The way airstrikes are designated, most of them anyway, is a bit stupid because you order them with smoke and you have to go deep into the zone you want to blow up, filled with enemies and then run like hell no to be caught by the BOOOM! More laser designated strikes would have been better. Stealing fuel over and over again also turns kind of dull as does trying to balance the various factions's mood towards you. They get hostile pretty fast. There should also be a garage system like in GTA and there shouldnt be a penalty for killing civilians. Dumb.

But the game does so much right you forgive its mistakes. You highjack tanks and helicopters, everything is destructable, there's always action, always people shooting at you, damn its fun. I'm playing with Mattias, who is so funny and so cool. Anyway this is my mini-review.
