I received my copy of Mercenaries 2 this morning. I finished Resistance and played the first mission of Mercs 2. I loved it. Destruction, mayhem, just awesome. And Mattias is so cool!

Finished Resistance on "medium". The game is good but not as good as people say. I liked Nathan Hale, he's a tough bastard and there are some great moments, but the way the story is told is pretty bad and the enemies are almost always the same. Great guns but not much ammo, good graphics but no destruction. Also the last level is such a big leap in difficulty it's amazing. I died like 6 times the whole game and in the last 2 levels i got owned a few times by the chimera. Bastards.

Also finished Killzone about a week ago. Its ugly, frustrating at times but a pretty fun game still. So now i'm ready to play KZ2 in February and Resistance 2 when it comes out.

BTW the Gamespot review of Mercs 2 seems a little harsh. Oh well, who cares, i never have and never will listen to reviews.

Well its been a while. So whats going on? A lot! Bought, downloaded and finished Siren: Blood Curse. Creepy, scary, somewhat frustrating, but if you're into the genre you cant afford to miss it. Had loads of fun with it.

Bought Soul Calibur IV. Fun but i expected more. Nice graphics and all but other than Darth Vader, The Apprentice and boobies, lots and lots of bouncing boobies, its a bit meh...

Been playing Killzone on the PS2 and damn that game is hard in some places. Ugly too but its fun. Helghast scum must die. Cant wait for February and KZ2.

I'm thinking of what games to buy til the end of the year, for christmas. Mercenaries 2 seems cool. I already pre-ordered The Force Unleashed and Fallout 3, the special edition.

Now let me talk about uncharted. I think Naughty Dog was smart putting in trophies in Uncharted. People want trophies. A lot of people in my friend list have been playing it non stop. Games that didnt sell much, like Conan or Conflict: Denied Ops or The Club could have used this opportunity to increase their sales.

Anyway i did all of Uncharted's medals back in January. I even put a few posts about it here on my GS blog. At first i was happy to hear about trophies but then i found out i had to do everything again and it really annoyed me. I mean Uncharted is really hard in crushing mode. After seeing everybody playing though i started thinking about it and last thursday night i decided to gve it a try. When on Friday i went through chapter 4 which is the hardest without much trouble i decided to get that platinum trophy. It was worth the trouble.

I got it a few hours ago. Crushing was so much easier this time. I got my first 3 gold trophies and my 1st platinum and i stil cant believe i did all those things twice now, especially Crushing!

It might sound stupid but i'm really proud.

So til the next time folks and if you havent yet, get Uncharted because it really is one of the best games ever and those trophies are so cool!!!!

I've been buying loads of games. Finished Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit on "Normal" and i'm doing it on Very Hard now. Its a cool game with loads of special moves, easy to do, and very flashy. I'm not very good on fighting games, so i'm happy to have found it. You dont have to push five buttons in a sequence at the right time to do something. Its more accessible for me. I've even started thinking about getting Soul Calibur IV.

Also got The Bourne Conspiracy which seems awesome. Only played one level, but man, its fun! And i've gotten Battlefield: Bad Company. I'm a level 7 already which is cool, after about 6 hours of online play. Havent even tried the single player. I got the Golden or special edition, and its absolutely beautiful and with great weapons right from the start!

I just hate what they did with the Find All Five stuff. My Battlefield Vietnam key doesnt work as EA's site says its already been claimed. And all the other stuff you have to do, its just stupid. EA's site is crap and all of this stinks.

But hey, nothing like snipping some poor bastard, in the head, without him even seeing it coming
