My site has been getting a lot of work lately and it is finally in some sort of finished state. I have improved the design, and added several more songs downloads. But the site still has huge potential for improvement and additional content. I can't do it alone so I am asking for help. One of the things I need is pics of different sizes that have the name of the site. I need a pic to put in my sig here, a button so that people can link to me, and something to put on the main page. If anyone has the skills to put something like that together for me contact me and we'll talk. I am also seeking someone that has the episodes recorded on to their computer. I will not be providing episode downloads, but I would like to have short videos and screen captures. I am also seeking someone to help me with episode transcripts. I have become fairly adept at doing this with some speed, but i can't do it alone.
I have also noticed NBB is sadly lacking in fandom. I'm talking fan-fiction, fan-art, fan-vids. Whatever you guys can make, I want it. That's all I can think of at the moment, so if you can help with any of that I would love to hear from you.
This blog post is to annouce the developments for my website but I do have a few other little things to share with you all. The NBB forums here have revealed to me that I am not the only one having problems finding the soundtrack. However certain people claim to have found it. I will keep the songs I have up until I can figure out where to get the soundtrack. When I do take down the songs I will be taking down "Crazy Car" "Rosalina" and "Motormouth" I also am getting some more of the songs from the show so expect a big update soon.
On the evening of Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent I went on a walk to go over what my goals and problems were for Lent and my life in general. The details are too complicated to go into here, but I would ike to tell you about one particular instance that happened on that walk.
As I walked down the street a particular bush caught my eye. It was mainly leafless from the winter's bite, but it did have a fair amount of leaves on it. I live in the desert Southwest, so this really is a normal thing. I realized that I was like the bush. (Yes I'm weird, get over it) I was somewhat barren from my situations, but I still had some leaves, some life left in me. I decided to visit this bush again on Easter to see if it had began to bloom. I wondered if I would have bloomed as well.
I visited that bush today, and it looked almost exactly the same. The leaves that had been there before were bigger and greener, but much of the bush was still barren. I then realized something very important. . .

Who Cares!? It's a bush!
Thank you for sitting through my sentimental dribble. Now on to business. This is my first out going internet use today. I have read stuff, but I have yet to send out anything. I had 288 emails, only 49 of which I am bothering to read.As I write this, I have yet to check the message boards here at Tv.com, but that is my next stop.
My Lent has been pretty fun. The highlights include singing "La Bamba" for my Spanish's ****s, watching "The Last Mimzy" (awesome movie btw, you should go see it. Now.) and the awesome Naruto and Naked Brothers Band epis of the past few weeks.
I have a few pieces of business to attend to now. Firstly my duties as Haiku King:
Lenten Sacrifice
I am now back from my Lent
With an annoucement
A new round begins
Haiku Pages come foward
To fight for honor
In translation, the contest for the haiku knights is starting up again. I annouced this in the Haiku thread at the avatar forums, but got no response. There may be response right now, and if any contestants have come foward I will edit this post. If I get no responses, that's ok too. It was fun while it lasted.
As for my Naked Brothers site, I have a few annoucements. I have gotten many emails asking where I get my songs. I have decided to keep this confidential for now. If I tell everyone then I won't have exclusive downloads. I may change my mind later, but for now you are going to have to go to my site if you want certain downloads. I have also gotten several requests for certain songs that I do not yet have up on the site. That actually brings up an interesting story which I will now relate to you all.
As many of you may remember on the night of the Kid's Choice Awards there was an ad for the DVD of the Naked Brothers Band movie. They claimed that if you bought the DVD you would recieve the soundtrack for free. This seemed like a great deal that I planned to take advantage of. However, Best Buy, Walmart, and Target all had no idea what I was talking about when I explained the deal to them. In fact Target doesn't even carry the DVD. When I got on the internet today I checked the Nick.com store which seemed to have no evidence of the deal.
My orginal plan was to take all downloads off of my site that were included on this soundtrack. I usually don't have a problem with pirating singles, especially if they aren't available anywhere else. But an entire album is a bit too illegal for me. If you really like this band, support them by going out and buying the CD. But if this soundtrack doesn't even exist(which seems to be the case) then I have no qualms about keeping the downloads on the site, and continuing to add new ones.
In other news I have decided to make a naughty list of people and organizations that annoy me. Nickelodeon makes this list for two reasons. One is for their lies about the NBB soundtrack. The other is for the spoilers given by Allie DiMeco in last nights episode. The entire week Nick made it seem as though it was a mystery as to who Nat would share his first kiss with. Even though we all knew it would be Rosalina I was extremely annoyed when Aliie decided to annouce it before it actually happened.
The other organization that makes my list is the Tucson Department of Transportation. I could explain it to you, but I think these pictures taken at the same street corner explain it all.
And so without further adue I give you the Naughty List
1. Nickelodeon
2. Tucson Department of Transportation
If you are still reading this not only am I very impressed, but flattered as well. That's all I have to say for now so until later.
Faldwin.
