My first DD post. I've decided to post weekly about cetain shows that are missed. Most will probably be ones that were cancelled before their time.

First up.....

Birds of Prey (2002-2003) The WB

I was in the fifth grade when this series premiered, and it was the first show that I watched every episode on air. I loved everything about it. The chicks were hot, and they were hot chicks with superpowers, I mean hello! I have always been interested in the Batman mytho and stories. He's my favorite superhero, because he isn't from another planet, and he doesn't have a power, he's pure talent and skill. So, when I saw the preview for BOP, I was hooked. The last three-four episodes were very rushed, because the writers knew they were getting the can, but everything was wrapped up nicely, so, i really can't complain. I did my research and found out that BOP was actually the second highest rated series on the network, behind Smallville, and the only reason for cancelation was cost of production. What baloney. They could have just cut the budget, ie: Angel, Dollhouse. It could have grown to be even better than what it was. Mostly it was baddy-of-week episodes, but they were entertaining, and the girls' relationship growth was amazing.

RIP: Dearly Departed

Of all the shows I watch (5), there were two that had a decent season finale.

Desperate Housewives: Well, I really wasn't expecting a great finale, because the whole season was pretty lackluster. The spark was just not present this season, something was missing. The jump didn't make the storytelling stronger, it brought it down. The mystery sucked real bad, mostly because it wasn't a mystery. We were told who Dave was and what he was planning pretty early on. It's like the writers weren't even trying. Season Four was amazing. I was, and am not, a fan of the third season. Thought everything about it was a hot mess. So, when the fourth season came a long I was pleasantly surprised. I was hoping to have the trend continue into season five, but no such luck. Plus Edie kicked the bucket. What the hell?!

One Tree Hill: I feel the sixth season started off strong, only because of Brooke's storyline. Sophia played the emotional scenes so well. Naley have been boring since season five. It's the same storyline every episode. Will Nathan be on a basketball team? Will Nathan help the smart @$$ player see the greater good? All that Haley has done is help Mia with her album, and deal with Sam, and a pest of a principal. The middle hit a slump. So not a fan of Leyton and have made that pretty clear. They were so annoying. All the I Love Yous and lovey-dover cracker barrel shenanigans were nauseating. Peyton totally lost her spunk over the years. She used to be so tough, then all she became was a twit who was obsessed with Lucas, who thought she could have no life without him. EW. Julien, is ok, I guess, but not completely sold on him being Brooke's right man. Eh. The finale felt so much like series finale. Everything was tied up so nicely, I don't know how they are going to top that for a real series finale.

Grey's Anatomy: Another series that had an iffy season. Season four was in no way perfect, but the latter half was great. We got some new characters, Owen, and Arizona. Owen is fabulous. I absolutely love him with Christina. I never felt this passionate about Christina and Burke. They were cool while they lasted, but now we have the new and approved model hah. I was super mad when I heard of Brooke Smith's firing. I loved her character of Erica Hahn, and an even bigger fan of her relationship with Callie. I was a huge shipper of Callica, had their little icons all over my profile lol. Her abrupt departure was uncalled for in my opinion. Callie ended up flirting with intern Sadie. Sadie was extremely useless. Why she was brought in I will never understand. Melissa George is fantastic, but this character disposable. Her flirtation with Vallie never went anywhere because Melissa decided not to sign on as a regular. Good for her, even she knew her character was craptastic. Arizona Robbins is a cool doc, nice and bubbly, and brings some much needed humor to the series. Bailey has been amazing this season. She really connects to her patients, and Chandra can act the hell out of it! MerDer, finally together. The wedding episode was one of, if not the, perfect episode ever. So touching. The finale was kinda dull, until the last few seconds lol. It was entertaining though and heartwarming, but my eyes weren't glued all the way through. What a cliffhanger though!! UGH!!!

Private Practice: The first season, I thought was a great introduction to the characters. It was short, but it ended like a season should. Season two, well, was different. Everybody started hooking up with anyone who walked and it was kind of annoying. Addison, in the beginning, had amazing Cop Guy. I loved Cop Guy, thought he and Addison had some fiery chemistry. They didn't last. Enter, Dr. Wyatt. They flirted for like two episodes, kissed, then he evaporated. They too were cute. Hopefully he will return at some point. Then comes the most annoying, most vial pairing ever. It makes Derek and Rose seem like the perfect couple, that is how much I detest the paring of Noah and Addison. It made Addison seem so needy and lonely. Addison became a strong person on Grey's, but what the hell happened?! He is a married man, and Addy, on numerous occasions, mentioned she would never be involved in adultery again, after what she did to Derek. She hesitated at first, then boom, throwing things off the desk. And, to make it worse, he was the husband of her very pregnant patient. UGH!! I pray, like real hard, that this douche of a character does not return. The actor's new series has been picked up, so, hopefully that means Adios Amigo!! Highlight pairings: Cooper and Charlotte and Pete and Violet. Sam and Naomi need to MOVE ON! Hopefully Nay finally will finally shack up with Dell

Dollhouse: Of course I checked this series out. My darling Eliza is the star, and it's a Joss Whedon series, how could I not? It had a rocky start. The first five episodes, which were pretty filler, were ok, but didn't add much. There were little pieces here and there about Echo remembering, but nothing major. Episode 6 really brings the series into the major arch and storytelling. Even the filler episode Haunted was great. The series ended on an incredible high. Alpha was revealed, Dr. Saunder's true identity (well sorta LOL) was let out of the bag, and Paul finally found the Dollhouse. Loved the season, as a whole I would rate it an 8. I was stocked when I learned of the second season pickup. Completely shocking that FOX would take a chance on a low-rated and highly loved cult series. I think hell will freeze over in the near future. Joss' other shows, Buffy/Angel, flourished in their second seasons, so, I'm hoping Dollhouse's second will be no different.

I've loved it since the beginning, but the latest episode was clearly the best. Echo became even more aware of her surroudings and SPOILER(!) asked Topher to program her!! I was like whao mami! And Dominc and Echo's scene in the van??? Absolutely amazing. And I must mention Adelle. OMG how amazing is this character?? Her scenes with Roger/Victor were pure gold and showed us Adelle is human just like the rest of us. BUT the scene with Dom SPOILER(!) shooting Adelle and her just standing there like nothing happened?! WOW trooper much! I'm hooked and I don't want to wait two whole long weeks! I need my fix.
