Okay I had this problem with my PS3 when I first bought one. You will have to call microsoft.Also depending on where you got the game Microsoft will hold them liable as for replacing it for free. Your going to have to call microsoft brother. The customer service is much better then before so dont worry.

I'm just recovering from my second RROD so I can feel your pain. From what your telling me it seems like something is wrong with your power cord or adapter. If its possible you should try using one of your friends cords to see if thats the problem. If that doesn't work check behind your console to see if anything is blocking or missing in the power outlet. If all else fails you might have to get your console repaired. Which is bad because other than the RROD they'll charge you for the repair. From what I heard I think its around 150$ for repairs. However I assuming that the console you have now is the one they sent is a refurbished console. It thats the case they might do it for you for free. Hope this information can help you in some way.
