Here is the live surf cam to Fistral Beach in Newquey, the most popular surf beach of the UK, and home to some world tour surf competitions. Newquey just reeks of surf culture, you instantly become part of it as you enter. It's said that newquey is the one place where you can look an absolute state, bed raggled hair and a weeks stubble, creased t-shirt and people will look at you and go "Hey he must be a local I bet he's a surfer. "It's also home to the massive Run to the sun bank holiday weekend. A time when tourists come down, destroy, rape and pillage the land and then piss off back to wherever the hell they just came from.
Crawling with beach bunnies in the day time, club tarts at night, Newquey it top place is the South West of England for larger louts hoping to get laid.
The other place I go, is Polzeath, which also hastwo surf cams, number 1, number 2. This is the more chilled out surf beach. It's a much more close knit community, it's much smaller, but that doesn't stop it attracting thousands during the summer holidays. Other then that, Polzeath is the place you go when you just want to surf but don't want the ego, a great place. The houses here fetch around one and a half million UK pounds due to it's location.
Polzeath is home to a few extremely skilled surfers. On a good surf day, you can walk across a footpath on a cliff overlooking the bay, where you get a clear view of them performing.
