Thinking about getting a 360 for my birthday...

Yeah, thats right! my birthday is coming up in 2 months and I'm seriously thinking about getting this.

This is the exact mode that I wanted, but the price and the fear of it malfunctioning is keeping me at bay...

I recently read that all new 360 had been redesigned to prevent overheat, so in theory that "should" ease some of my worries...

Any takes on this, 360 owns out there gimme you feedback please, thanks

Yeah, but it's a little expensive...
Singapore here is only at $699 which is probably much lesser than the one you wanted to buy when converted to US$... I've just calculated and the price here when converted to US$ is $512, which is $67 less and can probably get you one more game... So I suggest you to find some other dealer if you can...

eternal, im shocked that you didnt even mention this to me...lmao.

Anywho...Ive had my elite since July 5th :-P sooo lets talk..

1. Pricewise....Its sort of a good deal if ur really into the Halo series...or just Halo 3 alone. You get the bundle for about 90 bucks cheaper than if you buy all those things separately.

2. Yea my Xbox Elite hasn't frozen on me, died, RRoD'ed, or crashed on me yet. *knocks on wood*

3. The games are really good. Although almost all the good games are shooters.

4. Wheres Gears of War???????????

5. The Xbox360 is a really really good system BUT BUT BUT If your xbox isnt hooked up to XboxLive....It'll feel like you have 1/2 of a system. XboxLive makes up what the Xbox360 is really about.

6. Good System overall, a Tad loud lol, but the Elite's disc tray runs quieter than the Premium's.

7. You can finally play with ME!! lololol.

Thanks for you input guys.
This bundle includes the elite, halo 3, extra controller ,and a 12 months membership for XBL, so is really a good deal.

he probably did, but buying a ps3 right now seems kinda pointless, since most of its games can be found on a 360, plus the only good exclusive title coming out is MGS4....

The PS3 itself is a beauty of a machine. Highly customizable...which i loveeee. And right now.....idk many games that are out. GT5 and Warhawk are really good ones tho

its an action- Battalion Wars style of game. with land based and air based combat.

ur a foot solider that can grab guns and stuff throught the battlefield and ur base, or u can runs towards a warhawk (fighter plane) or tank, turrent etc..... to fight
